Grandezza Hotel Luxury Palace öppnade i april 2012 och är ett lyxigt boutiquehotell med handmålat glastak och marmormosaik. Amazing room on the top floor looking over the town square. Really nice bathroom with quality Italian soaps. Cool art deco hotel lobby. Enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. About as central a location as you can get. Only place in Brno I'll stay if I come again.

Hotel Pegas Brno

Hotel Pegas ligger nedanför slottet Spilberk i Brno. I samma hus ligger Moraviens första privata bryggeri, och här bryggs öl framför ögonen på dig. Pegas erbjuder rum med minibar och gratis Wi-Fi. Everything: location, room, service, food. I was late because I missed my train and then got lost finding the hotel. The clerk cheerfully stayed about a half hour before her normal time for going off duty so I could check in. Then they moved me to a double room because of street noise in the first one. The breakfast was great, with good choices including hot dishes. Staff kept food dishes and coffee pots full and promptly cleaned up tables. And the restaurant downstairs was tremendous, a wonderful Czech beer hall with excellent food and service even when it was very busy. And of course great beer that they brewed themselves. I ate most of my meals there. Brno has lots of architectural and other attractions yet is not overrun with tourists like Prague.
