Tião Botelho Guest House in Rio de Janeiro provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. I was in Rio de Janeiro for a week and wanted a place not too expensive, from where I could visit the city : it's near the Lapa neighborhood who's a place to see, there are groceries and restaurants nearby, etc. And for the most touristic places of the city, I went by taxi. I also wanted a place where I could have some calm for working on my computer : I stayed many afternoon on the balcony, it was perfect, sunny but not to hot and really quiet (as for the nights). The owner is really nice and makes you feel at home. For me, it's a great place for backpackers with low budget who wants to visit Rio and stay in a less-touristic area than Copacabana.

Loved Debora at the front desk, not only is she friendly, she’s also attentive even during people checking in and out en masse all day every day. All the other staff are great too, most understood basic English but would definitely help if you speak Spanish or Portuguese

Ideally located in the trendy and touristic Lapa District, where guests will find an array of entertainment options and can enjoy the local nightlife, Days Inn by Wyndham Rio de Janeiro Lapa is 2 km... All the staff, very professionel and helpfull. Nice hotel. Feeling at home. Convenient location, easy to move quickly around with Uber, supermarkets, old small bars with Brasilian music. Friendly population.

Rio de Žaneiro centre įsikūrusiame viešbutyje „Vila Galé Rio de Janeiro“ yra lauko baseinas, įvairiausias pasaugas siūlantis sveikatingumo centras, restoranas, baras ir veikia nemokamas belaidis... This hotel was amazing! Right in city, walking distance to everything, inc carnival parties and sumbadrone. The food was the best in Brazil and prices rediciously cheap considering. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Pool was lovely and closed by 10 pm.

Located 2 km from Rio de Janeiro commercial centre and 3 km from Flamengo Beach. The restaurant serves a daily buffet breakfast. WiFi is free and private parking is possible on site, at a surcharge. Great location in the middle of Lapa, nice and friendly staff. Very safe and clean

Arosa Rio Hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. It is located in downtown Rio de Janeiro. A 24-hour room service and shuttle services are available. It was very located and very organized.

Américas Granada Hotel has a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and bar in Rio de Janeiro. Staff were super friendly and service was great except when the pool bar is open it is almost impossible to get anything from the restaurant. It took 40min to get a Coca Cola up from the downstairs restaurant. They should just say “no service at the pool” and I would’ve got it myself. Other than that a great value stay.
