Staff on reception were exceptionally nice, welcoming and helpful. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was great, everything really clean. The public areas - sitting rooms, garden, etc are bright, beautifully furnished and nice to be in. Very good breakfast. Very quiet.

Daily chocolates left on the bed were appreciated, especially being Belgian chocolate!

Occupant un ancien monastère néo-gothique, l'Hotel Monasterium PoortAckere Ghent dispose d'une cour verdoyante et d'un bar. It was an old monestary and it oozed quirkiness. The room was lovely. High ceilings, lovely bathroom with great shower pressure. An old fireplace. The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful. Also the location was very central.
