Not big but well-equipped rooms. There is just a small window in the bathroom so you need to let the ventilation run to avoid the unpleasant humidity in the room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant for breakfast and another good restaurant just around the corner. It is easy to arrange other activities like fishing (which we enjoyed together with the desert island visit).
Situated in Omadhoo, Green Leaf Guest House - Omadhoo offers 3-star accommodation with a garden.

We have been on two local islands - Omadhoo and Hangnmeedhoo. I found Omadhoo a better place to stay, and this guesthouse, too. The owner spoke very good English (rather unusual in Maldives) and was super helpful. His first words were: 'no worries, take your time'. And it came out to be very true - no worries we had! And we had a great time there! Some highlights: a very good breakfast, a good lunch (hint: do not expect too much on a tiny island in underdeveloped country, it is not a resort). The owner offered to rent us snorkelling equipment at no cost. He showed us the best snorkelling spots, the tourists beach, explained the water current, the local rules and customs (remember that you arrived to a very conservative muslim country), warned about the sun (do not underestimate the sun rays!) I described not only the hotel but some of the the island features as well, because in so small neighbourhood everything is connected.
Bird Beak Beach is located on the beachfront in Omadhoo. Among the facilities at this property are a 24-hour front desk and full-day security, along with free WiFi throughout the property.

The hosting family were very lovely and hospitable
Breakfast very tasty- our favourite was the traditional Maldivian breakfast
We had free use of snorkelling masks and fins in very good condition
The rooms are very spacious and clean
Nice shower with hot water
Free beach towels also
There is free tea and coffee all day available
Very comfortable huge -bed we slept very well
The air-con works wonders in the room!
The bikini beach is 4-5 minutes walking
There are lots of shops on the island selling lots of fruit and snacks
The snorkelling is amazing - we saw turtles, big shoals of fish, huge manta rays, eels, colourful fish and reef sharks
There was practically no one on the beach it was so peaceful
There are fresh water showers on the beach, umbrellas and beds free to use
There is a nice restaurant Delish also for dinner and good prices there !
It’s a very small and beautiful island, you really experience the Maldivian culture and people and what a real local island is like
People are very friendly and helpful
There is also ATM on the island so you can withdraw their currency
The island is very clean and peaceful and safe
Absolute paradise !

Omadhoo Island in my opinion is among the most beautiful fishing islands I have seen. It has a nearby coral reef and above all it is very rich in fish of all kinds (including sharks and manta rays). It also has a lot of restaurants where you can eat local food at great prices. And everyone is always very nice. The island is small and you can get around on foot. The bikini beach is very nice, the only problem is that the sunbeds and umbrellas available (they are free) are not enough to satisfy all visitors (although not numerous)

This island was used as a stopover on the way to Dhiguru Island. We spent two days here. I really liked the island, its size is compact, it’s convenient to walk. Comfortable and clean beaches, both tourist beaches with an evening bar on the west side, and others. A pleasant surprise were two locations on the south side - a long pier, from which you can always observe hundreds of fish, stingrays and nurse sharks at close range. They are fed there. There is also a place near the lantern where you can pet the stingrays after sunset.
The food on the island is delicious and inexpensive. We stayed at the Green Leaf Hotel and ate at their restaurant. We highly recommend it, we tried all the dishes.
The house reef is very interesting, located not far from the shore. The island is very suitable for independent snorkeling. You can always take a boat.

Very nice people, especially the fact of them being generous. Our USD and MVR was almost finished and we were at the coffee place at the beach (the name of the person was Jahed). Generally you can ask for discount and we did in our hotel and in the supermarket, but in this case we just said we have this much and we want these two drinks, and he just accepted it. The locals in contact with you would treat you as a guest and they maybe invite you for one time drink or eat in their own pocket, our diving person and our hotel people did that for us.

We stayed 3 days in Omadhoo
It’s a nice and small relaxing island, we think we saw just 10-12 tourists there. There are few grocery stores and just 1 coffee shop in the island. We didn’t have a good experience there, the owner wants you eat what he wants not what you want to eat and overpriced (the food of the day started in 40dolars and after we tell him we wanted another food he lowered for 30dolars)
***there are nurse sharks and stingrays every night in the pier

Omadhoo is a local island with a population of about 1100 people living there. When staying on the island one can closely discover local traditions and daily life of the locals.
There is a very nice beach on the west point of the island. The only minus about it is that the level of the water is very low in the afternoons when is the low tide.
There are very beautiful coral gardens around the island with many kinds of fish living there.
There is not a lot of activities in the evening, but still, there 3-4 small cafes run by local people with traditional food served. You can expect prices around 5 US dollars per local dish ar a big fish for 2 fo 15$.
