Arrived very late and hungry. I asked the staff if there is any place I can get some food but unfortunately nothing was open. They were very kind and made me a toast even after their shift. Thank you again!
The place was cozy, it felt like home. And the breakfast made me smile every morning.
I also got a card that allowed me to hop on a bus and travel (South Tyrol) completely free of charge.

We stayed at Residence Egger for 4 days and we were very pleased with our stay. Thomas and the rest of the staff have been extremely kind and helpful. The room was wide and clean and the garden and swimming pool were lovely. A large selection of food was offered for breakfast and we also had the possibility to have a good dinner at the hotel for a convenient price.
Small note: the way that reaches the hotel from north is much more accessible than the one from south (that google maps suggests)
Where to start? Truly exceptional hotel with great staff and very kind owner. Room was beautiful an very tastefully decorated, with amazing view! Bed is supremely comfortable, everything is beautifully designed and yet functional. Breakfast is exceptional, both regarding quality and choice. I'm rarely impressed by hotels, but this place has really blown me away! Service, quality, design - everything is above many 5* hotels.
Spectacular view from the room. Nice newly renovated rooms of good size. Big balcony and nice bathroom. The hotel staff was very friendly , pleasant and invested. They were also very helpful for hiking tips. We went for the recommended hiking tour to Villander alm which was great! Nice location of the hotel with some restaurants in walk distance, and a good starting point for hikes in the Süd Tirol mountains.
Surprisingly during check-in I was offered a drink and a room upgrade. I took the suggestion to dine at the hotel and we were delighted with the menu and the food. The view from the hotel at 1500 meters high is stupendous. I am grateful to all the staff especially the Brunner family for the fantastic hospitality and homemade jam.
The hotel is very nice and cozy. The hosts are wonderful persons, eager to help with information and anything to make your staying perfect. The food is great, recommend. The bar has a lot of options, nice coktails and great wines. From the hotel terrace you will have a breathtaking view of the mountains. A wonderful place!
Excellent hotel with all the needed facilities. Kids friendly. Excellent food. Spotless clean. Wellness area and internal heated pool are a real treat. But the strongest asset is the staff: I rarely met such accommodating, kind and nice staff - always ready to help and provide extra support. Definitely recommended!
Ansitz Steinbock is the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Food, service, rooms and decor, and location were all absolutely perfect. We were there for our honeymoon and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and in comfort. I would absolutely go back in a heartbeat.
From the enchanting Tyrolese setting to the extreme friendliness of the staff, I would recommend this hotel any time. Italian hotels can be very trying , this one has everything to please a traveler in search of comfort , good food, friendly staff and wonderful surroundings

Every single detail in the hotel itself and the room was so well thought out, both for comfort and style. Impecable design, amazing room, amazing view, amazing food, and amazing staff. If we eclver come back to the erea, we will defently rebook this magical place.
The hotel has a wonderful view and a great kitchen. I would rate the breakfast and dinner as 10 out of 10 points. It is just perfect. There is also a complimentary lunch (from 3-5 pm) included in price. The staff are friendly and it was easy to communicate.
The hotel was located up on the side of the hill in Villandro. The view was fantastic. The hotel lokkednew or newly renovated. It was very clean and fresh. Balcony was nice to have. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
actually everything, but the hospitality and service by the staff is what really stood out compared to any other hotel that I’ve visited. the food is excellent and they match it with really good wine if you like that.
