Oh heavens - staying in a palace that lived up to its name was a highlight of our Sicilian trip. With painted ceilings in our room, wonderfully styled communal areas including in effect our living room, the most elegant of staircases and all the comforts we could want, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were incredibly helpful getting us to the palace and then parked (thank you Eva and the other colleague who held our suitcase on his lap!), and gave us tons of information. Breakfast was just delicious - fresh and lots of choice - and the coffee was particularly good! It was all a delight and we’d love to come back.
Situated in Scicli, 2.7 km from Spiaggia di Sampieri, RoccaSeta features accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge.

Such a lovely place, with views down to the coast and a beautiful pool. The owner, Cinzia, and all the staff are incredibly helpful. Breakfast was a huge choice of local produce, savoury and sweet. Although there isn't a restaurant it's possible to order dinner for only 20 euros per head. There's also a great selection of local wines.
Our room was a good size, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was great.
Cinzia goes out of her way to suggest things to do in the area. We loved her dog, Duke, too!

Very comfortable, spotless and well equipped suite. Loved the décor and arch feature. Great location, short stroll from the main piazza. On ground floor, but very quiet and felt secure. Was only there for one night, but you could spend many days there in comfort. Owner was very helpful in suggesting places to eat and parking just round the corner

Lovely peaceful rural location, far from busy touristic area. Old farm buildings sensitively and simply modernised. Patrizia was a wonderful host and although we don't speak any Italian, we managed fine! We will miss Tigre, your fabulous ginger cat.
The incredible history, beauty , food, people. It may be a long way to get to. It takes more effort than other parts of Sicily. In particular if you don’t want to drive. Do your research about best bus / train routes. Go with one of the big coach com companies. Don’t do by public transport. It will take you forever! It’s worth it once you get there. The scenery on the bus route is stunning also.
It’s like a film set. The beauty every where. The history is mind blowing.
As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and comfortable at all times.

This is a very small village in Sicily but it has a lot to offer. Especially the food. In my opinion, this is one of the best villages in Sicily for food. We had the opportunity to eat at 3 different restaurants:
- Buki Buki - ideal for a snack, both the pasta and burger was very good
- My Name is Tannino - a small restaurant over the bridge with fine food which is divine and the staff are very charismatic.
- Busacca - My husband order fish pasta which was good and I took a pizza which was exceptional.

Some wonderful churches, especially San Bartolomeo. Just wandering around the streets is enjoyable but one day is ample. Suggest a day trip from Noto or Ragusa would suffice as train station is a short walk from the historic centre. A map is required before a visit.

A great place with the history of Baroque mixed with Montalbano twists. Loved it, but three days with a hire car was not enough. You could happily go on foot everywhere and see Scilcli (Shiiiglee was the way we were told to pronounce it). The people were so friendly, happy to chat and take time to pass the time of day even with our lack of Italian. A few choice phrases, hand gestures and smiles go a long way.

Great seafood restaurants -Tre Colli and Caffe Sicilia were favourites. Fascinating buildings and good for local strolls - locals came out in crowds for the lively outdoor bars and cafes especially at weekends. Good traffic free public spaces.
The narrow streets not designed for modern traffic meant there were elaborate and complex one way systems and very narrow streets - definitely the place for a Fiat 500 or other small car.

Great city with many splendid Baroque buildings .
Great city with many splendid Baroque buildings . Charming both day and evening with great dining opportunities. Felt really safe with lots of people about without being crowded. Poor public transport connections on a Sunday was only drawback. I could quite easily live there!
This house is very special. It is in the old "borgo" of the town in a winding street. It's made of stone and lovely and cool especially downstairs. The house is very clean and full of antique furniture. It's very central; near to the glamoeous centre of Scicli and the fascinating older areas of the town. From the terrace you can see the rocky sides of the small valley the village is set in and the beautiful baroque churches.
We had a very relaxing stay and Matteo and his father were very kind , helpful and welcoming.
The hotel is in the middle of the centre with restaurants, cafeterias, grocery just few metres away. The rooms are more than an enough for a family with two kids. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of choices. Last but not the least a big thanks to Fabbrizio, the person in charge during our stay who is very gentle, polite, welcoming and he joked and played with our kids. He also advised us a good pizzzeria which at the end it concluded to be the best pizza we ever had! Thanks Fabbrizio.
Unbelievable"Hotel".
Fantastic renovation of old structures/apartments.. Hard to tell where the town ends and where the hotel begins. Very curated external areas, beautiful garden and two small pools, one overlooking Scicli.
Located in the old town right next to the church of San Bartolomeo, within easy reach of all sites, restaurants and bars. If you are looking for a unique experience and not a standard hotel, this is the place.

The house is wonderful and has everything you need. We felt so well during our 4 days stay.
Scicli the town nearby is very nice and the beach of Donnalucata beautiful.
Stefania the host is very kind, welcoming and eager to give advice about places and restaurants.
We highly recommend it. So, don't hesitate, just book it; you will love it.
Perfectly located with a beautiful top balcony overlooking the old streets of Scicli - great for some after dinner drinks. The apartment had everything you need for short stay. Both bedrooms were comfortable (both with AC) and also had balconies. Our host Gigi was excellent with local recommendations and answered our messages very quickly.
Gracious hostess met our every need. We arrived late and did not wish to drive to a restaurant in the dark. Our hostess transported us to a delightful restaurant in the heart of Scicli. We also got a tour. She provided a very delicious breakfast. If we return to Sicily we would be sure to stay here again. It was a high point of our trip.
This is probably one of the best location in all of Sicily but only if you have a car; otherwise I would not recommend this accommodation. But then again I believe it makes no sense to stay in Sicily and not rent a car. This place is almost ideally positioned to visit all places of interest on this side of the island, just perfect.
This is a beautiful house which is perfect for a family holiday. The house has with everything we needed including a nice garden and a beautiful swimming pool. The host is extremely kind and always available, if needed. The location is perfect because is less than 10 min away from the beach and from the wonderful town of Scicli.
this was an excellent apartment that was brilliantly located in the middle of Scicli. There were 2 large private terraces with lovely views. The host was very communicative which made the stay nice and easy.
Excellent location in the center of Scicli lovely comfortable suite with balcony and great host. We love the bakery, Spiga d'Oro across the street and A Funtana chiosk/bar/ garden spot. Perfect! 💕
It’s situation, very close to the historical center of Scicli where there are very nice restaurants.
It is a comfortable place to stay and Massimo, the owner, will help you with anything you need.
Very tastefully renovated old building close to the center of Scicli. The bed and linens were lovely. I can’t imagine a nicer place to stay. Five minute walk to train station and bus station.
Like the whole town of Scicli, the property was beautiful! The receptionist was brilliantly helpful and, indeed, locals - after just a day - were treating us like friends.
Gorgeous views and located in the historic part of Scicli. Apartment is so cute, completely updated with all amenities you would need. We loved our time there.
