La Vela, hotel in Furore

Placed in the centre of Furore, The painted Town, the residence is ideally placed along the Amalfi Coast, far away from the stresses of the city.

The owner was really lovely. He offered to give us lifts to the restaurant to my husband and our 4 years old son during night time when the buses were not running any more. Every indicațion was well explained as he is great at marketing. Very friendly host and really helpful. We will for sure be back. Rare kindness and good conditions for the money value.

just beautiful , a very special place on the Amalfi coast, tranquil and set apart from the overly busy towns elsewhere on this coast. two fantastic restaurant choices nearby (Serafina - you absolutely should go, and Melchio) both within walking distance and really do offer something unique, add to that the hotel we felt like we were experiencing something super special. Bed was so comfortable, we loved it here. Definately would come back

Host was really friendly and offered to help with transport and finding our way in the area. She even left some fresh tomatoes and other local goodies for us. Quiet little town just 20 minutes by car from Amalfi.

Quiet little town just 20 minutes by car from Amalfi. Close enough to Fiordo Di Furore that you can walk from there, although it can be a thought walk depending on where you start from, especially on the way back up.

We liked the location, as we had our own transport and could drive to other areas with beaches and shopping, it was so nice to come back to Furore which is perfect authentic Amalfi Coast Italy as the location is absolutely beautiful, inspiring and relaxing. Could have stayed a little longer.

This is in a great location.

This is in a great location. It was more busy than I expected and driving around is tricky with the windy narrow roads. You will need to be brave to go out driving Olin the dark to get to restaurants at night. The walk down the Fjord 600 steps is a great exercise for anyone

The hidden beach of Fiordo was just fantastic.

The hidden beach of Fiordo was just fantastic. We reached it by climbing down about 800 steps on the first day which was quite an amusing adventure. Second day we went by bus to save our leg muscles ! The beach was so enjoyable with panoramic scenes of the bridge on top and the mountain in the back. The water was so fresh and the beach boy provided comfortable chaise-long and drinks. At night we had a delicious dinner at Fico D'India restaurant on top of the mountain, quire stylish with a great view of the sea during the day time.

    Furore has beautiful views.

Furore has beautiful views. The location is about 400 meters above sea. There is not alot of activities so u must take the bus train or ferry. If you like more night life and activities then I would stay in one of the bigger towns like Almafi, Positano or Sorrento but if you like the peace and quiet and don't mind a little extra travel. This is good because keep in mind the bigger towns will be more expensive.

Very welcoming host. Comfortable, cozy and convenient apartment. Well equipped kitchen. The main feature is the terrace overlooking the mountain and the sea (may be not right in front of). A long staircase leads down to the beach on the famous Furore fjord (be ready to climb countless steps, the way from the beach to the house takes an hour). Other part of this stairs leads up to Sentiero Degli Dei path. For those who don't have such strong legs - Good pizzeria, bar and bus stop to Amalfi are very close to apartment.

OMG! The most memorable stay ever! This place is exceptional in every way. The sea view is amazing for sure (exactly as in my pictures). Everything is extra clean, comfy and beautiful. The host was super nice and told us a lot about the nearby places to visit and how to best get there and when. We found that Furore is the best place to stay on the Amalfi Coast as it is in the middle of everything you want to see. There is a very nice winery just down the stairs and a lovely place to have a breakfast.

It's impossible to forget this place! Everything feels like a dream. The view is incredible, all the staff make you feel at home always funny and friendly. The room was very confortable and clean. We had the best dinner of the all trip in the restaurant. You also have parking for scooter or car and you can walk to a very special beach called Fiordo di Furore. We just want to come back as soon as possible! Thank you for everything to both Luigis and all the team!

The location is perfect, away from the crowds of the busier towns on the coast. The restaurant is one of the best in the area, the food and service was amazing. The owner was very helpful in giving us all the transport details for trips to Amalfi. There is a shuttle bus that stops at the hotel for Amalfi 3 times a day for 3 Euro. Overall, the setting, the views, the staff and the food was perfect.

The flat was as described and very convenient for the bus stop and small shop. Advice to future holiday-makers: - Fiorda di Furore is definitely worth a visit but the descent/ascent is physically demanding. Be prepared for lots of stairs! - bus tickets are purchased at the bar near the shop, which opens at 9am. If you need an early bus plan ahead.

The position way up in Furore meant it was peaceful away from the hurly burly of Amalfi. There were plenty of restaurants close by to choose from and the view was perfect. Clotilde couldn't have been more welcoming and breakfast on the balcony was the best we had on our short trip by far. The room was a good size, clean and peaceful.

Quiet and serene yet only 10 minute drive to the Amalfi Coast. Breakfast was splendid and dinner was mouth watering. Staff was very nice, beautiful grounds with stunning views from dining area. Although the climb to the top is 100 steps or so, they were not steep and thankfully the hotel had a lift for our luggage. Highly recommend!

The staff was amazing, very helpful and friendly. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was amazing. Note: Gnocchi & fried mixed fish were our favorite. It's close to the Sita bus stop (uphill from the hotel). The view was great. 20 minutes from Amalfi. Quite and nice neighborhood with groceries and rental scooter nearby.

A wonderful hotel on the Amalfi. First, the views are beyond incredible; the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is a notch above. But what makes this hotel really stand out are the staff. They are the nicest, kindest, most generous people I’ve ever met. Thank you all for a wonderful stay in Villa Pino.

Beautiful property, if you can reach it. Quite isolated. If you want to stay in your hotel for your vacation, this is a good choice, because it's difficult to get anywhere from here. The breakfast was ok. Stunning views from the terrace. Room was nice and roomy as well.
