A wonderful building in the midst of this charming village. We hired the whole building two apartments and one double room. All great standards. Loved the host, Cristina, very attentive and super clear communicator.

This accommodation exceeded all my expectations in every way. Corniglia is a beautiful village and I loved being based here for my trip to Cinque Terre. The apartment offered complete comfort and tranquility and a real home from home feel. I loved having the spacious balcony where I could sit outside and enjoy the amazing view and to hear the waves crashing against the rocks down below. Everything I needed was provided in the kitchen and there are numerous food shops nearby, so it was easy buy all the local produce I needed for my meals. I found the walk up the road from the station easier than the steps, a more gentle climb. I didn't use the bus service as it was much nicer walking up through the village, seeing the gardens and vineyards along the way.
La casa di Zefiro is set in Corniglia, 2.4 km from Guvano Beach, 27 km from Castello San Giorgio, and 25 km from Technical Naval Museum.

Super clean facilities. Large dorm room. Corniglia is the most quiet of the towns in Cinqueterra, and the only one not accesible by boat. Additionally, there are A LOT of steps from the train station to town. However, the fact that it is at at a higher elevation means that hikes to the other towns will be easier 😉
This is a lovely little town. Be prepared if you plan to hike between towns. It's a challenge but worth it. The views are spectacular. If you're into walking some more steps down to the water in Corniglia, you will see a cute little restaurant on your left. Plan to have dinner there. It's peaceful and the atmosphere is gorgeous.

As the village is on the top of the cliffs it helps to have done some preparatory work to have stronger leg muscles and to have done some hills as the bus gets very crowded- no etiquette.
All the cafes and bars do good food Pan e vin did a fair priced Italian breakfast. The Bar below the Church had large Lattes if you need them and good choice of sharing boards.
Caffe Matteo looked after our group of 8 in the evening very well. Staff were great.
Once in the village you can navigate the narrow streets quite easily but they get very busy with day trippers. We enjoyed our trek to Manarola

While a little harder to access (steep stair climb or shuttle bus) than the other villages, the "isolation" means a little less mobbed by tourists - although still jam packed during the day. The central location means hiking the main trail can be done easily in either direction. Superb restaurants (and gelato...) on hand. Reserve and make the hike for lunch to Ittiturismo Corniglia Sp 4488 for a really special experience. And don't miss the two churches...

Smallest and quietest of the five villages.
Smallest and quietest of the five villages. But that makes it even better right? Good restaurants and places for snacks, good value accommodation, a little marina that is great for a swim and hiking options to Vernazza and Manorola.

A perfect place to explore in the middle of the Cinque Terre. It was quiet and peaceful.A small shuttle bus takes you from the centre to the train station in minutes.Plenty of places to eat and drink and if you want to cook your own food, there is a lovely shop to buy fresh fruit, veg, pasta, pesto etc! I would definitely return.

Corniglia was a small and beautiful village.
Corniglia was a small and beautiful village. Casa de Zefiro’s location and facilities made our stay there feel as though we were locals as I’d go down to shop each day - sometimes several times - and chatted with the locals. We were there the day the fishmonger came to town - Friday of course- and also the fresh pasta and cheese van - alternate Fridays. We walked one of the tracks to Vernazza and visited the other villages by boat and train and the crowds there made us so pleased to return to Corniglia.
We booked the apartment which is on the top of the building and comes with its own little terrace which is connected to the main and bigger terrace. This is the highest point in Cinque Terre and we had an awesome view over the coast and parts of Corniglia. Silvia, who checked us in was super nice and helpful. The place is super clean, comes with a full set-up kitchen and is quiet even though it's in the center of Corniglia. A perfect place if you plan to stay longer in Cinque Terre. We absolutely loved it.
The property was beautiful, clean and well-managed. We were provided wine upon arrival and snacks and water each day. The daily water was especially appreciated - this was the only lodging in Italy that provided it, and it was very hot weather. Max was the perfect host, providing a welcome reception and valuable dining options and reservations. He responded to any questions quickly and effectively.
The place was very nice with a modern interior. The staff were all very kind and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, the bathroom big and with a great shower.
The breakfast was made to order and as much as you want.
Corniglia is the quietest of the Cinque Terre but for us that’s what we were looking for. Locanda Il Carugio is the perfect place to stay and visit the other Terre from.
Everything!! This place was so beautiful! The family who owns it are so excellent and welcoming! They showed us how to use the train and offered so much info about Cinque Terre on their website. The rooms were so modern and clean. I didn't want to leave. The breakfast was delicious and sitting on the deck eating was perfect! Do not hesitate to book this inn if you are able!
We liked everything since we arrived. The property has very nice terrace with beautiful views. The kitchen is fully equipped, even with snacks, bottle of wine, water, coffee... The same in the bathroom.
The host Cinzia and Roberto are very nice and polite people, cleaned the apartment every day.
Big plus for us was parking place. It is a perfect location in Corniglia.
The location is perfect, absolutely beautiful view from the balcony, which is large enough for 3 people to stand/sit and have a glass of wine comfortably. Had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Small shower but very hot water. The apartment is just steps from the Corniglia viewpoint, great location. Would love to stay here again!
Corniglia was the best city of the Cinque terre to stay, the location of the hotel was perfect. The view was amazing, the room was clean, the host was very friendly. A big recommendation is the associated restaurant beneath the hotel, good food and great atmosphere. All in all we had an amazing stay and experience here.
Arbanella is very good accommodation in a beautiful Village. We had a room with a Balcony that looked out over beautiful countryside and down to the sea. Corniglia is a great place to stay, not as busy as the other Villages in the Cinque Terre and I would highly recommend Arbanella.
This was a great location in the center of Corniglia on a very charming street. It is next to a bakery and you smell foccacia as youa ascend the stairs which is lovely. A wonderful view from the terrace, and a surprisingly spacious apartment. All of the facilities worked well
Great value for those travelers on a budget who wish to stay in Cinque Terre. Wonderful location overlooking main square in Cornigia and with sea and territorial views. Cornigia is the smallest and least touristy of the 5 towns in Cinque Terre.
Simple, comfortable and centrally located in a charming village. Expect hills and stairs in the Cinque Terre, but it’s well worth the effort. Corniglia is a gem, as are the Affittacamere Le Terrazze and Marie Angela is a delightful host.
Room was fairly big compared to other hotels we stayed in Italy. Very clean and great views. Staff was fantastic. They responded quickly to any question that I messaged.
Corniglia is a gem, and this flat is just away from the crowds but easily accessible. There’s a small balcony with a lovely sea view and a great star view at night.
