A cozy little cottage in a stunning and very quiet region of iceland.
We loved to stay there.
When we needed fresh towels, the hosts brought them right away.
We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and soaking in the hot tub.

Maybe the best Guesthouse on my 10 days Island Trip. I Like the Personal Engagement of the Owner who takes time for everybody and explains things and Gies tips for the Journey. The breakfast was very good. And yes there is Not a complete Kirchen yes but there is a Team and coffee 24 Hours and a microwave and a Tube. Thanks for having me and on another Trip to Island this is my booking #1

The best house where we stayed in Iceland, the owners were very friendly, the house was perfect equipped, the facilities were in perfect condition and the beds were very comfortable. In our stay we saw northern lights from the house, so the stay was unbeteable. Without a doubt, highly recommended and I would repeat the stay without thinking about it. Many thanks to the owners for the welcome and if I return to Iceland, I will definitely repeat.

We loved our stay at this room which is located on a working farm. The owners were super nice and helpful. The room was spacious (by European standards) and extremely clean. The breakfast was fantastic - the typical continental items were served but also included was scrambled eggs.

Nice accommodation and friendly staff. All the rooms were cozy, I can imagine a longer stay in this facility. Unfortunately the weather was not good, so we didn't enjoy the surroundings.

Lovely property very cosy and warm. The surrounding areas are beautiful. The hot tub was perfect after a day of exploring. We made use of the cooking facilities for the week this was really handy. Perfect location for exploring the north.

The guesthouse is wonderful, we really loved it.
The guesthouse is wonderful, we really loved it. Very cosy and clean room, nice beds, great shower. Microwave, tea facilities, bathrobes for the hot tub. The cute horses on the land. The wonderful hot tub, sitting there at night under the stars waiting for the Northern Light was a magical experience. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast very good and the staff was so nice to us. We are vegetarian and they made scrambled eggs especially for us without bacon, thank you so much! We regretted having to leave, but when we are in the area again we will definitely come back!
if you are in Iceland you MUST stay here. Everything was WONDERFUL! Abba was so kind and gracious and made us AMAZING breakfasts with homemade jams and cakes and fresh eggs from her chickens. the two adorable dogs were at the door to to greet us when we went outside and we even saw the new baby lambs! a beautiful stay!
each room was spacious and had its own bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very clean and nice. we had a view of the horses!

We’ve stayed at many small cabins around Iceland and this one exceeded our expectations. It’s very clean, well appointed, and cozy. The owners have taken care to attend to the small details. We visited in early October and the cabin was warm and well insulated. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The cabin is behind the owners house but is very private and has a nice view of the surrounding area.
Decent price for the North, which is generally quite expensive; this was a relatively quiet location to stay in and only 10 minutes away from Gullfoss, around 30 mins from Myvatn. Comfortable cottage with all the amenities. Easy to pick up the keys and drop them off at the reception. I can imagine this would have been a fantastic location to see the Northern Lights in the right weather.
For the cost a wonderful value. Rooms were very nice, clean and beds comfortable. There was a hot tub available as well. Convenient place for us to stop along Iceland's Ring Road. Short drive to Myvatn, Akureyri, or Husavik. Would definitely stay again. Breakfast was included but unfortunately we had to be on the road by 7:00 am so we missed it.
The best accommodation we had in Iceland. Very friendly landlords - you feel that they love it to have guests. The breakfast was excellent. The room was big and the nights were absolutely quiet. Very good location to all sightseeing-points in the environment. Thanks a lot to Abba and Hlynur.
Clean, big apartment, good equipped kitchen. Best part - naturally filled, constantly renewing jacuzzi outside, which was amazing. Self check-in was convenient.
Chose this accommodation due to quite close proximity to Myvatn natural baths, and was very happy by what we received.
Exceptional lovely hosts:) We enjoyed the stay a lot. Clean, comfy, homey, lovely breakfast.
You can use the big kitchen from their camping facility.
Perfect for a stay near Myvatn lake, if you are on a budget but don't want to compromise quality. We stayed 2 nights.
One of the best accommodations we had on Iceland. Everything was perfect, nice hosts who baked homemade treats for us. The house was the biggest one we had all of the time on our Iceland vacation. Totally recommend this place for accommodation 11/10.
Location was great. Halfway between Akureyri and Myvatn. The owner met us on arrival to hand over the keys and showed us around. Has washer and dryer. Would definitely recommend.
Fully equipped kitchen, even with Washing machine and dryer which we actually used. Good Base Location to Explore the Myvatn Area and Godafoss. Friendly host.
The most wonderful apartment! We're just in love with this place! We even had a kitty guest. :)
We'll definitely visit Breidamyri again next time in Iceland!
