The check in was smooth and timely. The desk staff were helpful with all inquiries and were able to book tickets for events and transport. The location was GREAT!! We could walk to all attractions, restaurants. The hotel is situated at the Old Harbour which is full of restaurants, attractions and interesting sights of working ships. The room was cozy and spotless - we had everything we needed including space to hang clothes, store luggage. Oh, and the breakfast, worth every penny!

We were pleasantly surprised with an early check in when we reached the hotel at around 1030am. This helped us to settle in fast after almost 20 hours of travel. The room was just nice for 2 people. It had a fridge and safe box which was useful. Cups, tea, sugar and creamer was useful. There was a lot of table space for 2 people. There was bedside lamp which was useful too. The area was near many shops and we was able to walk around the city area as it was nearby. Sun Voyager was just down the road too. Flybus airport transfer stopped right in front of this hotel. What more can you ask for?! Breakfast was just nice but repeated on both days I was there. Our room was on the 2nd or 3rd floor facing the street. We had to close the curtains the whole time if you want privacy. But it was no issue.

Great location, close to bus stop 9 for all the bus pick ups and within walking distance to all city sights. Breakfast was lovely-provided gluten free bread on request.

Downtown Reykjavik is full of life, joy and culture, so it can be noisy at night. We recommend enjoying the live music at the bar downstairs, which will stop at 11 in the night.
