Safed has the magic of serenity and spirituality in every corner. It’s in the buildings, nature, narrow streets, local shops, food, and people. It felt like an extension of Jerusalem. Driving in Safed is tough as the streets are narrow and sometimes there are two way roads which are too narrow for two cars. Parking in the city is tough. There are plenty of kosher restaurants in the city.

The first place in Israel, which itself introduced me to itself, led me. If you understand what I mean. Wonderful atmosphere, and in the old town, and in the colony of artists, and in the mountains in the vicinity. I will definitely come back, and definitely recommend to visit, and definitely for a few days.

We went to Rashbi in Meron, the horse stables and Techelet of Safed.
I went to the Museum Meiri, tried hard to find the Museum of the Bible,
with no success. Ate both days at Mendi's, food was good and tasty.

On one hand, full of history, mysticism, spirituality, and surrounded by much natural beauty. On the othe hand, the city doesn't seem to be very tourist oriented. E.g. all businesses closed from Friday noon until Sunday morning.
With a bit of homework, Safed is totally worth a couple of days visit.
The place and the compound are beautiful, the couple who runs the hotel are very friendly in the kindiest way.
The house of the couple is also full of history and tells you the story of immigration, to settle down and last but not least the turbelent story of the land of Israel. This place is a must see in Israel. Go there, ask and listen.
By the way this type of copperhouse got an exhibition in the Museum of modern Art in New york
The woman of the house is friendly and spoke fluent English. The apartment porch and yard is pleasant. Her children are adorable and enjoy throwing their toys over the fence into the yard. I know this family is doing their best to earn a little income from the property and I wish I could give a more positive review. The bathroom drains emit odors and bath flies. The room deodorizers they use do nothing to cover up the smell.
Off the square is located in a very quiet area of the old part of Zefat. Cafes and restaurants are in walking distance. The landlady was very friendly and helpful with everything. The balcony, oriented toward the street Tet vav, was very cosy and one can enjoy the sunset over the Galilean hills. Overall, everything was exactly as described on the home page. Perfect for a stay in Zefat!
The Way Inn is a magical, peaceful and beautiful place. The decoration is so tasteful, the breakfast exceptional, even the music at breakfast perfect. The staff starting with the owner is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is lovely with a beutiful view of the landscape overlooking the rooftops of Safet
Beautiful house with wonderfully heated pool and hot tub .
Assaf, the manager , was always helpful to our requests. We asked for a Succah and were provided with a lovely one that fit our family of 10.
Also know that the address is number 33 , not 32. This house is much prettier than number 32.
Great place. Suite was perfect for spending Shabbat in Tzfat. The kitchenette was perfect for preparing food and the plata helped keep everything warm. Perfect for us and our baby- comfortable and centrally located at the top of the old city
Lovely place to stay. Sharon was great for communication. The room was clean with all the facilities which I needed. Great balcony. Sharon was super accommodating to extra requests. A great place to stay in Tzfat
The location is excellent, quiet yet in walkable distance to everything you might need. The hotel itself is very authentic and cozy. We enjoyed the rooftop with pool and jacuzzi overlooking the city and the sunset
The room was charming with stone work and nice decor. The location was beautiful! So breezy and gorgeous trees! The host was helpful on the phone and by text to help us find food in the nearby area.
Close to the city centre about 15 minute walk.
The stunning views
We stayed in the studio, very clean and spacious for
a family of 4. Comfy beds best night sleep had in ages!
The small courtyard outside with the beautiful view and the pool of water with fish in it.
The apartment was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable.
It's a very stylish and well-located hotel. We had a stunning view from our window. It was so quiet and peaceful that we couldn't wake up in the morning.
