Great beach in Culdaff with play park for children.

Great beach in Culdaff with play park for children. The beach is great for walking and lovely for swimming. A short drive away if sightseeing you can do to Kinneago Bay and Malin head. The Innishowen peninsula has some amazing scenery highly recommend. We also had a lovely visit to the Wild Alpaca Way.

Beautiful beach and only a short drive to Doagh Famine...

Beautiful beach and only a short drive to Doagh Famine village. It was quiet when we stayed at the end of May but there is a shop where you can buy wine and beer etc. We ate in McGroarys and walked around the old graveyard before heading to the beach which is only a short walk away. There was a lovely mist around the bridge walking back to Ceecliff House which was just beautiful.

    The beach; amazing!

The beach; amazing! I was familiar with it because we took our children over many times years ago but it was just wonderful to be there with a friend. Chatting away to so many people who live there. We went inside one of the pubs (only the beer garden was open due to covid), and we had a great chat and laugh with the owner and other staff. Lovely. People are great we got so much help when we almost missed our bus! Customers in a wee grocery shop were all doing their best to find out about the busses' timetable! Staff in the hotel arranged a taxi! Thank you all from Laura and Caron.

    Attractive village.

Attractive village. Short drive to the beach, & easily walkable given a bit more time there. Good location with plenty to do on the peninsula. Nothing is too far away. At this time of year, some places close earlier than their advertised times, so leave plenty time if there is somewhere you particularly want to visit. The Mary Crowley art gallery is well worth a stop on the craft trail. Superb original water colours as well as prints, all very reasonably priced, & very personable artist happy to spend time with you.

Easy and good people to deal with very helpful and we would give it five stars out of five. So close to shops and beach nearby. I cant fault this house in anyway, we look forward to returning in the future.

Excellent location for exploring the Innishowen peninsula, Carndonagh town nearby for big supermarket etc. Culdaff small shop for local bits, McGrorys welcoming and friendly pub/restaurant for tourists. Roomy driveway, really comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms upstairs and a spacious WC downstairs. Comfy sofa to chill in the evening, large kitchen plenty of space for storage etc. Washing machine very handy as we ran lots and needed to wash clothes.

Superb choice for breakfast. Evening meal was very good, with helpful and attentive staff. The hotel is a great base for exploring this part of Donegal - my trip was for photography and there are some excellent places to capture, as per the attached photograph of Carrickabraghey Castle on Doagh Island which is about a twenty minute drive from Culdaff.

The staff are really lovely, couldn't do enough for you and eager to help in any way they can to make you holiday great. They are only about 1 minutes walk from the centre of the village of Culdaff. Plenty of parking. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners.

Culdaff is a beautiful location with friendly locals and a great base to explore Donegal. Darren was a great host and the house suited our needs as a family of five. The house is in a very quiet estate with considerate neighbours. Very close to the most amazing beach. Highly recommend the pizza shop across the road for food.

The B&B is located 5 min away by car to Culdaff Beach, and within a 15 min ride radius there are quite good pubs and restos to eat at. It’s also a good stopping point if you’re travelling along the Wild Atlantic Way. The hosts are extremely friendly, they even offered tea and cake when we arrived in the afternoon.
