The hotel is a family owned business and had about 15 or so rooms. The hotel is right on the sea and a couple of kilometers from the old town and easily accessible with a car / taxi or even a bike. The rooms are a little old but the size of the room is large and spacious. The kids room was separate with it's own door. We also had our own private balcony and a view of the Adriatic sea. Our room was clean, well equipped with everything we needed. The bathroom was clean and well equipped with towels and toiletries.
We reached on Christmas Eve and started on Christmas day and were the only guests at the hotel. Despite us being the only guests the staff was very very nice, they made breakfast just for us and the hotel owner's family provided us some Christmas sweets as well. I have to make a special mention to the reception staff Martina and Ana who were extremely helpful and nice. Parking is easily available and free at the property. We also found that people in Zadar were very hospitable and nice in general.

A great country to visit with plenty to see and do.
A great country to visit with plenty to see and do. Croatia has been in the pipeline for a while & I’m so glad I went. Not many countries make me go back but it’s ticked so many boxes for me. If you can hire a car, this would be really beneficial. Mountains, rivers, lakes & lush green clean countryside. Excellent & exactly what I wanted.

Zadar is an amazing city historically, really has every century covered since Roman times, but the beaches are not so good, you have to drive outside Zadar to find a nice beach. For 1 day stay it is okay if you plan to visits Plitvice Lakes from Zadar .

Zadar is a lovely place on the coast with great views, the place was very clean with no litter and limited graffiti. It had a very safe vibe about the place and the people were welcoming. The locals offer great excursions which you definitely shouldn’t miss out on. This was a cheaper holiday and was 100% worth the money

Brilliant city, we only had a few days and wished we had longer. I’d say you need a car to get around but because we didn’t need to use public transport I can’t really comment on how good it is.
Loads to see and do, went with a young family and they loved the sea organs!

Zadar is such a gem, I cannot recommend this city enough.
Zadar is such a gem, I cannot recommend this city enough. I visited in early April and the weather was fantastic but there were not many tourists so that was a positive. All shopkeepers, waiters, and people in hospitality/tourism I spoke with were all so friendly. Prices are also very affordable and there is so much history to experience.
This family owned hotel and restaurant exceeded all our expectations. We stayed over a week in Zadar. Had wonderful food. And yet chose to eat at the Niko restaurant on multipole evenings because the food AND the service was so exceptional. The breakfast is unbelievable. A choice of made-to-order omelets or pancakes...but a buffet that was more than enough even without the warm items. One day we asked if we could be served breakfast early because we had an early event. Offered to pay extra. They wouldn't hear of charging us extra!!!
Everything was perfect: free parking, sparkly clean room, a superb view to the Adriatic Sea which we got to admire from our own (huge) private terrace, the pool. The owner is really nice and gave us an upgrade of the room we initially booked and also some useful travel advice. We also got to meet Blinks, the very cute dog that "guards" the property. It is true that you have to walk about 30 min, or 15 min+cheap boat to get to the city center, but the hotel area is far more quiet and relaxing.
We spent 2 weeks travelling Croatia and Sites of Zadar was by far the nicest apartment we stayed in.
The location can't be beaten- in the centre of the old town and everything on your doorstep.
The apartment was modern, recently renovated and spotless. The bathroom in particular was lovely and the shower pressure was great.
The host, Vladimir, was very friendly, easy to communicate with and offered a flexible check in time.
We would 100% return next time we visit Zadar.
This place is perfectly located at People’s square about 6 minutes walking from airport shuttle bus station at city center.
Room is midterm and decorated tastefully with all details, better than those 5 star hotels, super clean and feel very comfortable.
The host greet me in the front of the property at late of the night, show me everything needed and make me feel at home.
Strongly recommend this place to everyone traveling to Zadar, the best value-price
A newly renovated, very well equipped and a perfectly positioned apartment in Zadar Old Town. Kitchen was stocked with basic supplies, as well as nice extras. The spotless and modern bathroom had shampoo and toothpaste and the washing machine had detergent. We didn't have to buy or use the basics we took with us. This apartment is stylish, comfortable and well managed. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Its not cheap to stay here but 5* quality comes at a price.
It is a fairly good hotel, quite standard old Yugoslav style, recently renovated. Quite simple but has adequate amenities. Everything is there, but it is not the greatest quality - which is to be expected, to be fair, based on the price. Breakfast has a good choice and enough sitting area. It is a short walk from the gates of Zadar old town - a pleasant stroll, but probably on the long side if you are with small children.
Lidia was super friendly, felt like an airbnb host.
Very beautiful decoration.
The location is pretty close to the center of Zadar.
Parking spot.
Clean.
Private garden to enjoy the coffee and company.
It was so quiet during the night although it was full season...if it weren't so hot, we could have slept with an open window.
We'll definitely return here next time we visit Croatia.
Nice quiet hotel near the beach and about 4km from the city center.
Room with pool view and balcony
Staff was very friendly and helpful
Hotel doesn’t have their own shuttle bus to the airport they work with local taxi companies (25€ to the airport of Zadar and +_ 8€ to the city center of Zadar) if you can take a taxi by your own it’s cheaper.
Perfect place to stay in Zadar! Walking distance to lots of cafes, restaurants and Old Town (grateful for the tip from the hotel owner to take the rowboat ferry across to the old town), and swimming in the Adriatic. The room was spacious and airy, the balcony had picture perfect views and the breakfast was very good.
Very nice location, we liked our room number 14. The city and old town in Zadar are beautiful. The location is near the sea. The owner of the Pansion Maria was very honest and hospitable person and we appreciate it, because it was our first time in Croatia. Breakfast was tasty and on time! Nice stay in Zadar 👍
Large apartment with great clean swimming pool. All facilities available:- dishwasher, washing machine, aircon, etc. Close to beach and bars. 10 min uber to Zadar. We were a family of 5 and had plenty of space. The owner was extremely helpful. 5 star service. Would definitely go back again
Such nice small boutique hotel, only four rooms. We had the top floor room with a terrace overlooking the city and partly sea view. Location was amazing in Zadar Old Town. Cute decorations, and near and clean rooms and bathrooms
Very much like that it isn't in the madness that is central zadar. Next door is a good restaurant and down the street is a big grocery store. And the room is very quiet, which seems to be a rare find in Croatia.
An ok hotel located 10 minutes away from the old town of Zadar. Fairly forgettable, but the room was clean, the breakfast buffet was ok and the price was reasonable. The hotel was fine for a one night stay.
Believe me, most of the suites at 5 stars hotels dont have all the confort that this fantastic apartment has. And believe me, I am hotel director!!
The best accomodation during our 28 night trip in Croatia.
I had a discount stay on this location and in that way, price was reasonable for one person stay. The nearby beach was beautiful to walk from end to end. Old town Zadar was beauiful also.
