The fact that it was family run villa (B&B) the whole family made us feel very welcome and are very helpful. The room we had was very spacious and had a view of the sea. The breakfast is very good with a selection of cereals, fruit, meats, cheeses, eggs and pastries. They can also sort out transfers to and from the airport 10 mins from the villa, they can also book boat rides to the islands and excursions, just have to ask.
The location was very good, a 3 minute walk from the sea and a short walk to the local beach with a beautiful sea and views. The local and surrounding areas very interesting lots to see and do as well, there are lot of small local shops and small supermarkets dotted around within 5min walk, take a look about the alleyways. All along the water front there are some great restaurants. M
The main Buses stop at the top of the road a 2min walk and they go to and from Split to Trogir, Bus number 37.
Welcome to Kaštela. Feel the amazing spirit of Dalmatia in our XIV-Century-Rooms located in a charming historical limestone building kept in the traditional Dalmatian seafront style.

Beautiful room in an old character building. Exceptional location by the ocean with many restaurants and bars a stones throw away. Incredible staff who were still responding to my messages at 1am after a late flight arrival. Could not recommend this place enough!

We were met by Katarina, who was very welcoming and went above and beyond. Seen as my wife was pregnant, and she was the only female guest, Katarina gave us the key for the women's bathroom, so we had more privacy. We were very grateful for this and it was very thoughtful of her.
The place was very clean and tidy and for a place to stay at a reasonable price, it was perfect.
Nice little town, great for a family stay.
We were there in beg-September - not too crowded, the weather was still very warm and the sea was clean and accessible with rather small but clean beaches. It was a little windy for 3 days.
What turned out to be important for us - they have a good emergency room in the middle of the village operating 24/7 (we needed it for my 2yo who fell down and needed a few stitches).

if you want to go from one place to several interesting places in a few days, the accommodation is perfect! From here we went to Split, Trogir, Mostar and the Kravica waterfall. Kastela is a calm but not very interesting small town. Of course, there is also a harbor and restaurants within walking distance of the accommodation, but this was not the point for us.

I forgot to add that the beds are quite comfortable with nice , clean and attractive bedding. Coffee on our terrace was a nice way to start our day and a glass of wine on the terrace was a great ending.
