The receptionist was lovely. She took us to our rooms and later came over to talk to us when we bought a drink at the bar. Her command of English was very good and we had a long and interesting conversation with her about many different things.

Nice little town, family-friendly, easy to get around by foot, with plenty of small restaurants, cafes and beach bars. Safe and clean streets. Beaches with clear water (albeit rocky, so beach shoes might be useful for getting in and out of the water).

It's a nice little city, but a bit boring, there are almost no events or similar. If you just want to beat time and do nothing except for swimming and eating then it is perfect for you, otherwise find a different city like Pula, Rovinj, Zadar, Split etc. There is much more to see and they are way more interesting. Very tourist place, too many restaurants, markets, apartments, souvenirs and stores for tourists. Rich evening program in streets (concerts, handmade market, exhibitions..), very clean and friendly environment. Nice beaches to swim, water sports and other activity. Best ice cream and coffee for us was Toš Kavana, rate *****. Transport from Czech republic was very clear and easy. This apartman creates a very nice atmosphere. Tastefully furnished, incredibly clean and you will find everything you need during your vacation in the apartment. The environment is quiet and safe. The room we stayed in was spacious, with everything you could need at the seaside: TV, AC, fully equipped kitchen, nice big terrace overlooking the sea, nice bathroom with shower, big bed, beach a couple mins walk... The value you get for the money is great! I really really can recommend this apartment for stay at Crikvenica! And also, if you have a dog you're most welcome and great dog beach is 10min easy walk away

The apartment is basic but has everything you would need. It's very specious. There is a small shared swimming pool. 10 min away from the supermarket. 10 min away from the beach. 30 min away by walk from Crikvenica city centre. It's pet friendly and the owners are city vets.
