If you want a special experience go to Skopolos. We arrived by ferry from Skiathos which is only 1 hour and 14 euros each. Visually the town is special from the sea and is very friendly and full of nice bars and restauraunts but is also very chilled. Prices are sensible.

Very wide choice of restaurants and bars, but not all open when we visted at end of September when everything was begining to shut down. There is no real beach in the town so transport is requred, local buses are good but services reduce in September. Lots of steep slopes and steps so not ideal for less mobile. The town has very much the feel of a place that has been taken over by tourism. Plenty of trips to visit parts of the island and other islands.

Lovely island with a lovely port with many shops and restaurants. Extremely safe and it has a lovely vibe about it. We took a Mamma Mia tour which was inexpensive and a great way to see some of the main sites around the island and visit some lively beaches. It is very mountainous and the roads are not for those afraid of heights. Skopelos town is definitely the best place to stay

Picture-perfect Greek town, totally unspoilt, with some amazing bars and restaurants. Great for all ages and tastes, and the whole island is easy to get around on the local bus. Some stunning beaches to visit, a definite must-visit Island.
It was quiet, The beds seem to be new and very comfortable and they must have soundproofing between rooms and floors, because I didn't hear anyone else. Breakfast brunch every morning was excellent.
On the last morning I had to be at the ferry port at 5:30 in the morning. They had called a cab for me, but he didn't show up. They even made a little breakfast for me. The night desk clerk had to take me and my bag on his motorcycle.
They are first class hotel.
The apartment is beautifully decorated and very spacious! It is a very short walk to the port and restaurants, and located just off a quaint, cobblestone, traditional path. Absolutely beautiful! A perfect place to stay in Skopelos town. Maria and Athanasia were extremely communicative and accomodating. They were happy to provide recommendations and very willing to help when we had questions. Highly recommend!
Exceptional design and quality of premises. All amenities are well considered, top level renovation will be liked by any contemporary family. Very clean and fresh, light air blowing through 2 balconies. Fantastic view over the port of Skopelos Town. Bath and washing machine, all new and work great. Could not make a better property for the local style and well being. Reccomended for sure.

Exquisite hotel with nice rooms and easy check in/out. The 24-hour reception at Rigas Hotel Skopelos was always ready to assist us with valuable insights into local attractions, traditions, and places to explore on the island. Definitely we'll be back for summer vacations.
Great view. The hotel has its own pool and bar (great cocktails). Magda at the reception is lovely, very friendly and has a lot of tips to share. Easy parking place. A little bit out of the town (and that's good because it's calmer and easier to drive there).
I opted for a room with a private pool and garden furniture and it was pure bliss. The room was spacious, had free Wi-Fi and opened to a lovely terrace. I loved every moment of my stay, enjoying both the private comforts and the hotel's fantastic amenities.
