I stayed for 9 weeks at Granny's house and I have to say that I was sorry to leave. A beautifully restored traditional house, with absolutely everything you need. Tastefully decorated and fitted with all new appliances. There are two outside areas to enjoy. One on the top landing with views of the fields and mountains, and a secluded courtyard below. Great location. A bus stop across the road that will take you to Chania, and a bakery literally a 2 minute walk away. My host was very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

The hotel is run by a really wonderful family. Their care and attention are unmatched in our experience. This was our second stay and we weren't disappointed. Breakfast, views, pool etc. are all wonderful. If there is anything at all out of place, they will always make an effort to put it right. In fact, they go out of their way to assist and advise.

There's a fantastic restaurant but it's not really a place to go every day. There is one tavern in 10-15mins walking distance. The other tavern is quite a hike as it's hilly.
