Perfect location for our plans, we were at a wedding nearby and the night prior we went into Hereford for dinner. Tracy was a fantastic host, very welcoming! Lodge had everything we needed for a cosy night away. Lovely setting and very private.

What a fab welcoming host too! Lovely touch of welsh cakes and fresh milk and eggs in the fridge, sadly never had time to fully appreciate everything.
As in a rush didnt have time for the full personal tour on arrival or unpack all our food and found the kitchen had luxury under floor heating! Individual radiators have simple temp control as well as central one to adjust. Worth checking before bed as was a little too warm in the middle of the night..

Room was clean, well lit, facilities on hand. Great value for money the room was lovely and had everything I needed. Lady on reception was very polite and helpful. Private car park was a great bonus too. Would definitely stay here again.

The cottage was wonderful. It was very warm and welcoming, wonderfully decorated and some thoughtful finishing touches.

Sheila and Steve, owners of Somerville House, were tremendously hospitable hosts - nothing was too much bother, even fetching us plates for our takeout dinner one night. The B&B is a short walk from Hereford train station and not far from the town centre, so it's easy to get around even without a vehicle. The stellar (included) breakfast is served to order, hot and made with local produce. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable, with beautiful views of the town and cathedral, and spotlessly clean. A fantastic value for your stay in Hereford - even the minifridge, stocked with local treats and drinks, was remarkably reasonably priced!

I was in the area for work, I didn't get to explore at all I'm afraid. However, I'd say to come to the area if you're looking for a countryside getaway - the malvern hills are nearby, as well as other walking trails through some lovely countryside. My drive here was gorgeous, I thoroughly enjoyed it (all fast country roads, no traffic from Telford). Hereford looks like a nice town to visit, Leominster is tiny and doesn't have much to see, I'm told. Didn't get to visit either!
