This is the 2nd time ive stayed here mainly due to cost.
The hotel is quite dated in most areas however it is good value for money and I find it comfortable.
The room was a good size with plenty of tea/coffee. The water was not very hot on my first visit however no issue this time, there is a soap dispenser in the shower however id advise to take your own toiletries.
The hotel is quite large but I had a good nights sleep not disturbed at all and the bed was comfy. Although the hotel is very dated it was clean. Nice pub across the road that does great food and has a gorgeous beer garden, hotel also has a great balcony to sit on.
Situated on the beautiful island of Jersey, the 4-star Hotel de France is a 15-minute walk from the town centre. With free WiFi and free parking, it has a spa, gym and swimming pool complex.
A 5-minute walk from the beach at Havre des Pas, the Mornington Hotel provides bed and breakfast accommodation just minutes from the centre of St Helier.

Beachcombers Hotel is a boutique hotel next to the Royal Jersey Golf Course and Bay of Grouville, and a few minutes' walk from the beach. There is a bus stop directly outside the property.

Breakfast was varied, both full English and continental. Lots to choose from and pastries were yummy. Not too far from Gorey harbour and the castle, beautiful. A short 5 mins walk to the nearest bus stop where you can hop on a bus either way, they run every 10mins. Best to get a bus pass from bus station in St helier. They come in 1,2,3 or 7 day passes, (unlimited travel).
Jersey reminds me of England 30 years ago, tranquil, everyone is really friendly. Food is great and pace of life is more relaxed. Definitely coming back for another visit.
Marina Metro Hotel is superbly situated on the seafront, overlooking the bay at Havre des Pas, one of St Helier's lovely beach areas with safe bathing either from the beach or in the open-air bathing...

The staff were fantastic. I forget the Bulgarian guys name but he did everything possible to ensure we were well looked after. The room was cleaned etc. during breakfast which was ample, they even had gluten-free bread for me. The view from the terrace is magnificent. They even upgraded my room for free before we arrived and unbidden.
Jersey is a beautiful island. Easy to access all around island as not very large. Car is best but bus routes are good. Plenty to do and see. Beaches to explore and countryside. Roads are narrow sometimes with sharp bends but adds to the character of Jersey. A different pace of life - relaxing environment. Good pubs, tasty food. People friendly. St Helier best for shopping. No large supermarkets. Small Morrisons, Co-op and M &S mainly available for sell catering food. Excellent afternoon teas available.

Suitable for adults and moderate to fit walkers.
Suitable for adults and moderate to fit walkers. Stunningly beautiful coastal paths which are well marked and clean. Little for children or teenagers to do other than a trip to the zoo- which is great. Self catering highly recommended as evening restaurants not in great abundance. Infrequent bus service so own transport essential.

Beautiful bay on the North Coast of Jersey.
Beautiful bay on the North Coast of Jersey. Lovely but very quiet. Definitely need a car. Only a beachside cafe nearby. Nearest pub is approx 1 mile away up very steep hills. Lovely coastal walks to Rozel Bay and Bonne Nuit. Paddle boarding and diving available in the bay.
A very peaceful and quiet location. The junior suite that we had was in excellent condition, well equipped and comfortable. There was a bus service that came past the hotel but it wasn’t very frequent so we would advise using a car. A continental breakfast pack was supplied for the first day but was sufficiently generous to last two days. An excellent M&S food shop is ten minutes drive away in St Johns, along with a restaurant/pub. The local village has another pub and small village shop.
Nice quiet room, kitchenette is great and especially the breakfast provided for the first day(s) was really nice. Great location to start hikes along north coast from and nice (pebble) beach; unfortunately due to rainy weather we did not swim (nor in the heated pool). Slightly isolated w/o a car, especially since only a few buses a day but very nice pub/restaurant in Trinity at 20 min walking distance, very enjoyable walk.
