We had a fantastic time at our pod in Lairg. Clean and has all the essentials you need with a lovely view over the fields. What especially made us feel welcome was the warm touches by the hosts. There were lovely tips written in a folder by Anita with some walking trails. Upon request, John brought us fresh delicious eggs and was super accommodating in preparing and giving us a tour of his animals. John also shared tips on how to drive to our next destination. We took the beautiful route over the north of Loch Shin towards Lochinver, had John's recommended pies at Lochinver Larder (our now new favorites too). We spent our day with full hearts and stomachs. Thank you, would definitely recommend this spot!

LOVED it here! We booked very last minute but we were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The property is just beautiful and the view is stunning. We so wished we could have stayed for longer. The bed is super comfortable (probably the best nights sleep we had on our journey), and they have everything you would need there for you. David is also a wonderful host and we can't wait to return!

Every detail in the pod is extremely well considered. Its equipment is on a high standard, modern and everything very clean. The host welcomed us warmly, despite we changed our arrival time on short notice. He was always reachable and gave us valuable recommendations for activities in the area and around (fishing, hiking). The property was nice a clean, had few problems such as with gas, not having the heating although we had hot water but still we would need heating. Had a very short stay so I prefer not to bother but still if you’re paying the money shouldn’t provided with everything.

The view onto the loch is just stunning and very inviting, though if you are planning on swimming I'd take river shoes to avoid the debris and sharp stones. The pod was very clean, warm and comfortable with good facilities. If I return to the area, I'd definitely stay again.
