Excellent location to where I was working.
Staff was super friendly. On my arrival, a fresh lick of paint was being given to the front doors and window frames to the annex rooms

If you're learning to fly at Shobdon and need somewhere close by then this static caravan is a good choice. A little tight on space but comfortable and fairly clean.
It can get a little noisy overnight as there is a lorry park nearby and a farm but they're far enough away for it not to be too obtrusive whilst you sleep.

A beautiful village, but we only went as I bought my husband a flying session with Swift Light Flight (Steve Eyers) at Shobdon Aerodrome. He had a fantastic time and even non flyers can relax and enjoy very reasonably priced refreshments in the coffee shop.
