The room was a standard double but was perfectly fine for us. We stayed in Till. Very quiet location. Staff great. The breakfasts were excellent and could not fault the evening meals which were fantastic - the fish and chips, the belly pork and the soufflé were tried and enjoyed. Best to book a table as it is very popular. Plenty of parking. Great for Berwick, the Farne Islands and the Northumbrian coastline.

A beautifil wee village with 2 very good pub / restaurarants at either end. A great spot to decamp and strike out to Bamburgh or some of the other glorious spots in this beautiful part of the country. It's one of those places you'd think too good too not keep secret! Staff were absolutely fantastic Lorna was so sweet and nothing was too much trouble made our stay so lovely. Food both in the hotel and pub were out of this world the breakfast was absolutely gorgeous all the good freshly cooked to order and locally sourced which is lovely to see would definitely recommend the black bull and I'll definitely be staying again!!!! ❤️NickiUnited Kingdom

Our room was very large and comfortable and being in the village was quiet. The walk in shower was excellent, however the shower tray was very slippery and needs a bath mat - we used a towel. Both our evening meals and breakfasts were excellent. The hotel staff were really good and extremely helpful. Excellent wifi connection. This hotel was very Corvid 19 compliant. Plentiful and well-priced. The best feature of the hotel however is the lovely, friendly and helpful staff. They made us feel very welcome and gave lots of advice about local trips, excursions etc. Only negative about the property is the lack of hand-pumped beer!! We will return.
