This cottage is absolutely stunning, me and my wife stayed here just before our wedding and waking up to that view in the morning was absolutely magical.
The absolutely perfect place to stay and we will hopefully be back for our anniversary.

Leek has many historical buildings of interest - we followed the historical buildings walking trail which was interesting.
The people of Leek were very friendly and helpful, offering places of interest to visit and advice on eateries.
We frequented The Roebuck Pub over alternative options, purely because of the value for money of food options, which were excellent.
Leek itself is easy to walk around, just 'hilly' so you need good calf muscles.
At the time we visited, the famous indoor market was under reconditioning, so will need to visit again in the future to tick this off our list.

Leek is a lovely market town that has retained many original features. You can see money is being invested in the area and it is a good place to travel out from to see the sights. There are many places of interest, walks and waterfalls and of course the peak district itself. So many pubs to choose from all stocking locally brewed ales

This is quite a lively but friendly town with everything you need when you are away from home. Good Esso garage and shop with easy access. The roads are busy but manageable even in torrential rain. I stayed just outside of Leek but a lovely area of the countryside.

Leek is a market town full of character. Interesting architecture and lots of small independent shops to explore.
We explored Leek on foot and found a park to relax in. There are some good restaurants and we can recommend Napoli restaurant with a good range of pizza and pasta dishes.

There was so much more to do than we anticipated with the lake to explore and lots of playgrounds, markets and walks. There is also the railway which is a really nice way to visit the lake and make the most of the sightseeing for little legs.

We visited Derbyshire to visit The Potteries, so didn't spend much time in Leek.
As there wasn't anything gluten free on hotel menu that took my fancy , we drove 7 minutes up the road to The Pack Horse inn, Crowdecote. Lovely meal in a cosy old pub amongst pretty scenery.
The 3 Horse Shoes is a great place for weddings. Superb gardens.
We stopped off at Buxton Spa Town on way back home. Beautiful Georgian buildings and The Pavillion on gorgeous park. Worth a visit.
All was excelllent. Communication was smooth, and parking and check-in were very easy. The flat is beautiful, very spacious and comfortable. Beds very comfy. Location is great for all of Leek, and the people in Leek are so welcoming and friendly.
Spacious, warm room, very clean, large en-suite. Great location for the town centre. Wonderful, friendly hosts. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Plenty of off road parking spaces. Will definitely stay again if ever in Leek.
The room was great. Good size. Comfy bed. Great shower but over a bath not walk in. Big tv. Nice coffee bags, biscuits, bottle of milk. Fridge.
Location was great. Short walk into town which had markets on both days.
We liked the location and size of the property. The contact was available when we called and dealt with an issue speedily. The apartment was well laid out and had all the usual extras that you would want from a hotel
Location was excellent - central to Leek as expected and stated. It was a quirky residence, where we felt at home easily. Lots of things for young children to do. Generally it was what we expected.
Location was perfect. A beautiful, historic building in a quiet area of Leek but within easy walking distance to the town centre and amenities. Excellent rooms. The breakfasts were also excellent.
This was the second time we've stayed here and were very impressed again. The room was spotless, staff were friendly and the breakfast was perfect. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay in Leek.
The apartment was really nicely furnished, and the kitchen well equipped, comfy beds. Ideal location in Leek to go out in the evening and for driving to the Roaches for some walking.
Excellent location in central Leek, property was clean and warm. The welcome basket on the dining table was a lovely touch. Lovely large family house with 3 good size bedrooms.
Friendly, helpful staff. Perfect location close to town centre and people we were visiting. Has it's own parking. Would stay again if we were in the area.
