A really stunning house. Beautiful pictures and paintings on the wall. It is like stepping back in time and staying in a house from over a 100 years ago. Everything is immaculate and authentic. The orangery is an amazing space as well if you want to hold a party or a big group of friends.

The rooms were extremely homely with comfortable bed. It was very clean. The staff were very polite and had great food and service from the restaurant staff. The bar was very inviting with great decor especially liked the welsh theme. The location was excellent in the centre of the town. The food was delicious. We were travelling with our American friends who thought the place was amazing.

The waterfront and portion of the town enclosed within the...
The waterfront and portion of the town enclosed within the castle wall were nice. Once you exit the castle walls, there were a couple of areas where small groups of males were engaged in anti-social behaviour. While they were in the minority, their presence really brought down the image of the town. The commercial areas outside the castle wall could benefit from signage standards.

The castle and old town are amazing.
The castle and old town are amazing. The views across to Anglesey were breathtaking, especially at sunset. Everything you need is close by and there are lots of places to visit - castle, marina, smallest pub in Wales. Along with plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes. I use a walker and had no problem getting around. The castle is in the process of fitting a lift inside one of the towers, so anyone with mobility issues will be able to access the upper areas.

The castle was amazing, we could have spent longer there but wanted to fit in other sightseeing. We were self-catering but there were lots of places to eat which seemed very attractive. The town is not too large to get about on foot but I suspect most people would prefer the area around the castle and quays.

Castle interesting and views across to Anglesey beautiful at sunset. Walled town attractive though some of the outer parts a bit run down. Seems a lively place with a buzzing Friday evening social scene. Eating places mostly offering pub grub rather than local produce.(Ok if you like chips)

Magical, Musical, Happy, Dog Friendly and helpful place. The cobbled streets bekan horses, the Castle stands strong, proud and has witnessed passing of time. The Marina changes as many times as the moon rising and the sun setting, mirroring the life of the Castle. Musicians bloom like flowers. The town was lovely to walk through and in perfect location from hotel we was very close to the harbour but didn’t go and see as we was there to climb snowdon and was about a 20 min drive there so not too bad

Our room was very comfortable although the pillows were too firm in my opinion. The breakfast was a winner and special mention to Delwyn who was so very helpful at the breakfast service and prevented me from burning the Inn down using the toaster!!! Parking is arranged by the staff and we managed to park at the side of the Inn at a cost of £10 per night. However there is free parking a short walk from the hotel.CaroleUnited Kingdom

The place has lots of charm but the rooms themselves could use updating. However the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! The hotel is right by a bus stop with service from Bangor and on to Porthmadog making it easy to do our trip car free.
