Friendly campsite with tents, pods etc in a good location for hiking and seeing the beautiful highlands. Showers and loos were clean. We forgot to bring bedding for the pod but were able to hire it. It was a bit hot in the pod as there is only one small window to the front (very high temps of 25 degrees at the time) but apart from that we were comfortable and the staff were helpful.

Location was great! Friendly staff, endless walks to explore locally or only a short drive to Loch Lomond or glencoe if you wish to explore a little further. Great variety of tea in the room, coffee and hot chocolate!

Keep in mind that hotel is in the middle of nowhere and you have to relay on their bar& restaurant menus , not a cheap one. The nearest shop is 8 km away in Tyndrum.

This is a lovely hotel and they have a fantastic setting for people walking the West Highland Way. From the reception staff, to the porters that I met, everybody was very friendly and polite. My room was fantastic and a great collection of tea and coffee and shortbread . Dinner was absolutely gorgeous, good selection of wines and gins! Breakfast, catered for most tastes, I would say. The Hotel was children and dog friendly and it was a lovely experience to stay there. I hope to return!

Stayed at the main house, very nice and spacious room. Nice soap in the bathroom 🥰 very friendly staff. The river ist just behind the hotel where you can take a quiet stroll but it looks like its a good starting point for hikes as well. I would totally wouldve loved to stay a few nights more. Also, thanks again to Paula for managing some sandwiches for us (after we informed the hotel of our delayed arrival) even though the kitchen was officially closed ❤️
This hotel was way nicer than I anticipated. My room had a spectacular view of the mountains and after hiking all day the bed and view were so comforting. I really enjoyed the little deck and sliding door that came with the room. There are also ample walks and hikes you can do around the hotel, so much to see/enjoy/explore. I had a great time reading in the cozy hotel lounge. The breakfast included with the room was delicious and high quality.
My wife and I were hiking the West Highland Way and Bridge of Orchy was our 'halfway point' so I thought we'd splurge a bit. The location was exceptional and they charge accordingly as the only real option in the area. In hindsight, we should have taken the train to return to the Hillview BnB in Crainlarich we stayed at the previous night. It was a fraction of the price and just as pleasant but with more dining options in the evening.
The staff were very helpful and accommodating. They were able to answer any questions we had about onward travel. The room was very comfortable and had a beautiful view. The breakfast was delicious and had many options. The evening meal was also excellent. The restaurant staff were very kind and our meal came quickly. We were so impressed with this hotel!
this hotel is beautiful. the rooms are comfortable. the location is perfect coming from the west highland way. the dinner was excellent. best risotto I’ve ever had. they also prepared a packed lunch that was delicious for my hike the next day
Very welcoming and hard working staff who can’t do enough to ensure your stay is perfect.
We stayed for my wife’s 50th Birthday and all the hotel staff sang happy birthday to her as well as helping with table decorations and cake.
the room was lovely, even though its in an annex/cabin it still felt like a hotel room. nice freebies in the room as well. Dinner was great as well and the spread at breakfast was 1st class. Staff were also friendly and helpful
Room with a view, delicious food, staff were brilliant and location was spot on.
The hotel was also pet friendly and this was certainly the case, our dog was spoilt by the team even whilst busy making our stay one to remember.
Very nice hotel with all the confort you may expect from that category and price. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Despite the nearby road, the rooms are very quiet.
the staff were very professional and obliging. The location was picturesque. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and the breakfast we ate there was delicious.
Nice hotel in the middle of nowhere. We wanted to head out really early and they accommodated that with a breakfast to go. Nice restaurant. Beautiful scenery.
