Lovely welcoming staff throughout the hotel, bar and restaurant. Friendly and thoughtful. It is a really delightful location and I saw the staff go out of their way to help even unexpected visitors walking the coastal path as well as the guests. The rooms were clean and tidy despite the age of the building which is all part of the old world charm.

The room was much bigger than expected, with a separate bedroom, TV room and bathroom all connected via a mini hall. Very spacious. Breakfast was excellent too, and the restaurant was great.

It’s all about the exceptional location. It presents possibly the best viewpoint of north Devon’s Atlantic-facing coastline.
