A good ibis hotel- has its own bar and restaurant - although we didn't use either- you need a car if your staying more than one nigh as we did.

Perfectly situated on the main wine dealers' street. Nice to have the facilities of a suite. The manager was extremely helpful and friendly and we greatly enjoyed the degustation.

Saint-Emilion was the best stop on our trip thus far.
Saint-Emilion was the best stop on our trip thus far. We are staying in our 8th hotel right now & not one compares to the hospitality shown to us in st. Emilion. It is the most beautiful village. I will be back next year.

It is a beautiful town, with an interesting history.
It is a beautiful town, with an interesting history. The food was excellent everywhere we ate. Take comfortable shoes as the cobblestones can be quite uneven at places. Take as many wine tastings as possible - the wine is soooo good. Don't miss out on the unique local macarons either. Do the historic tours and walks, it is all just so good for the soul.

The medieval town was compact, but not suitable for disabled visitors, as the streets were steep and there were many stairs. Roads were cobbled, so wheelchairs were difficult to navigate around. However, as our group were all able bodied it was not a problem for us.
As you would expect from a premier town, prices were fitting for the experience.
I would go again and stay in the town again, as day visitors did not have the luxury of the facilities behind the streets!
We ate in 3 restaurants, the best by far was Restaurant Le Tertre. Booking essential, I booked 3 months in advance to make sure we got a table!
We did the miniature train trip around the wineries in the location, excellent stop with wine tasting and celler visit.
It's a must visit town.

It's a magical city but be prepared to do some walking wearing flat shoes with non-slip soles due to the hilly and narrow roads being preserved as they were a gazillion years ago. There are many shops to peak the interests of many. Parking would be the most challenging event so keep the vehicle of choice the smaller the better.
The historic Catholic Church has 9AM services on Sunday's who welcome parishioners. Most businesses speak a fair amount of English if French is not your primary language. Credit cards are preferred.
The surrounding vineyards are immaculate and the streets are very clean and inviting!

Excellent for medieval history, wine tasting and majestic...
Excellent for medieval history, wine tasting and majestic views of vineyards all combined within ~5 min walk radius. Great ambiance, old town streets, shops, wine caves, restaurants, pavement cafés etc.
NB the town is built on/ around a hillside with steep cobbled stone steps and streets - best not to come with a stroller/pushchair or wheelchair!
Our hostess Caroline was very friendly and helpful. The first thing she did was give us a map and tell us the best things to see. She offered to arrange any bookings we wanted too. The room was lovely and perfectly clean. Breakfast was delicious, made to our requirements and served in her lovely courtyard. The situation is perfect for exploring Saint-Emilion as it is right in the heart of the town, and thanks to Caroline's advance directions we had free parking too.
We loved everything about this property! We spent three nights in the two bedroom apartment. It came fully equipped with everything anyone could want or need. Apartment was spotless, so clean that you could eat off the floors. Eduard and David were the best hosts, welcoming, friendly and beyond helpful. Eduard offered dining suggestions as well as a great wine tour. Saint Emilion was every bit a fairytale village. We didn’t want to leave but will for sure be back!
Location is perfect right in the middle of Saint-Emilion. Steps from restaurants, patisseries, shops, grocery store, wineries. We’ve probably rented about 50 home shares in Europe and this was my favorite on location. The host, Sam, is also wonderful…accommodating on checkin/checkout…great tips for the area…left us some farm fresh eggs, wine, juice, water. Beds, bathrooms, and kitchen all large and very usable. Book it.
I just spent a wonderful 5 days here while rowing in a big regatta in Libourne just 15 minutes away. This is an idyllic setting out amongst the vineyards and near Saint Emilion. Very much a family home. Véronique and Tony went above and beyond to attend to comfort and our schedules for racing. It was lovely to come “home” to Ch. Pierre de Lune in the evening and rest well.
The hotel location was nice and central for exploring the town. We had a suite which was much bigger than expected with a lounge and terrace, with table and chairs, that overlooked the garden. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed relaxing in the historic hotel grounds and the swimming pool was perfect!
Having had a bad experience at our hotel in the Dordogne, it was great to arrive at the hotel and be welcomed so wonderfully - from helping us arrive, find the car park and organise dinner, we couldn’t have asked for more. Fabulous friendly staff.
Rooms were stylish, simple, clean and comfortable in a great location.
We loved it!

The best place around Saint Emilion. The hotel is relatively new and nicely decorated, with comfy rooms and great amenities (SPA and outdoor pool). Very good place to stay if you are visiting the region for wines. On top of that, it has a nice winebar and restaurant. The staff is very helpful.
the rooms are very spacey, clean of course, and the beds very exceptionally comfortable . the staff was friendly and helpful : the hostess made dinner recommendations and reservations for us, which is invaluable . there is convenient parking behind and hotel. the breakfast is very good.
Beautiful Apt. with 2 bedrooms.......large windows in living room overlooking the street below........paid parking nearby, but free parking on the road coming up the hill (2 blocks away)........very helpful staff....keys in the wine store on the 1st floor of building
Perfect for our needs. Close to centre ,air conditioning, good comfy bed and very clean. Someone obviously cared about providing good simple accommodation at a fair price. It didn’t feel like the anonymous decor of the chain hotels. Thoroughly reccommended
A wonderful hotel in the best location in Saint Emilion
Stunning decor immaculately done
We loved the gastronomic restaurant and enjoyed the casual friendly atmosphere of the Bistro
Lovely staff and we will be back
