The owners are extremely nice. There is a somewhat limited restaurant on the property, however, everything I saw prepared looked excellent. If they don’t have what you need, there’s a restaurant 10 minutes up the street and several cafes 10 minutes beyond that. Personally, I was satisfied with their food offerings.
Very well thought out facility with several accommodation choices. I stayed in a single room with the most comfortable bed on the Camino and perhaps, all of Spain. This was my favorite hostel or hotel on the Camino.
very extremely nice and friendly owners of this beautiful little castle.
we loved everything from the room to the garden and the breakfast.
they have transformed this castle in a very nice boutique hotel blinding the past with the modernity. The decoration has been done with a very good taste and the sense of every details.
as we arrived late the owners were so nice to call the nearby restaurant to book a last minute dinner.
we really recommend!
It was situated near a small village in the hills surrounded by a lovely garden with tables to enjoy your meals. Some nights there are concerts in the dining-room that are lovely. The guests are very polite and there is no noise. And last, but not least, there is Rogelio, the jovial and attentive hotel owner who tirelessly looks after the place and its guests. Not to mention, the rest of the friendly staff.
Beautiful hotel in a beautiful town with a beautiful view. The room was spacious and very cozy, with a very nice garden/terrace.
Rojelio was very nice and welcoming, and with a lot of knowledge about history. He gave us a lot of interesting and useful information about the area and places to visit.
We will definitely stay here again in the future.
This is the most exceptional little hotel. It has recently been lovingly and lavishly restored and has only been open a month. The owners are charming and quite clearly in love with Villa del Marqués and it’s history… and for good reason. Breakfast was superb.
The location was very quiet and peaceful and just a few metres from the beach. Hotel was spotlessly clean, food was delicious at the hotel restaurant, and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Perfect location for a short relaxing stay.
A beautiful hotel with friendly and welcoming staff. The restaurant is very good as well. This hotel is a ten minute walk from the center of town but well worth the extra steps. It is one of my top hotels on the Camino del Norte.
This hotel is a gem, very friendly and welcoming host and staff, and has a lovely relaxed feel. It was a great location to explore the area. The food was lovely. We wished we could have stayed longer!
Great hotel with good spacious accommodation.
Breakfast was more than adequate and dinner was served in a delightful setting. The food was very good.
The staff were very friendly and helpful
