Lovely hotel overlooking the river, once a monastery , it retains a lot of original features with an internal cloister that overlooks the now covered courtyard where we had a delicious breakfast. Free drink tokens on arrival which we used at the outside bar which served Leffe and as our rooms were not quite ready we were given two extra tokens which we used later. Very comfortable beds in our room.

Very nice hotel with warm and welcoming staff. My room was spacious, with a comfy bed and high-end toiletries. I wish I could say more, but I only stayed one night and had a very early night in. I asked for a quiet room, and was grateful that I was placed in a room close to the reception but in a secluded wing.

Very interesting place, with a spectacular fortress on a high cliff; impressive architecture; the Lefe beer museum is a little more commercialised than I like; the cave Grotte La merveilleuse is impressive. There are several castles and castle ruins around from different historical periods. Great place to visit! Kayaking and rock climbing is also a thing here, although it's not our cup of tea.

went for a weekend to explore, beautiful place. the one ticket that includes the cable car, tour of the citadel and then the boat trip is a bargain, next time Ill choose the 2hr boat trip instead of the 45 minutes, so relaxing. lots of resteraunts to choose from although it pays to book ahead in the evenings. the town itself is very clean and tidy, no rubbish anywhere.CLIVE FORDUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0

The bed was comfortable, the heater worked well, Wi-Fi was stable and fast, there were a fridge and a kettle in the room. The self check-in and check-out went smoothly, we received all the necessary information. Special thanks for the list of nearby cafes which serve breakfast - that list was very helpful! We enjoyed our stay there.
