I was welcomed warmly by Bick and her family, and everything about this homestay exceeded my expectations. The setting is idyllic, situated low on the mountainside and just a five-minute walk to the river in the valley, where you can swim in (small) waterfall pools, which I did each day I was there. Views from the bedrooms and dining area are excellent. The food is delicious. Bick is an engaging host, who is eager to show her guests around. She swam in the river with me and invited me to pick tea leaves one morning with her and her mother. Later that evening, we roasted the tea leaves together. She knows a lot about the tea-making process, and also offers trekking tours of the area which I did not partake in but would like to try in the future. I've stayed at more than a dozen homestays in northern Vietnam, and have had several good experiences. This was among the best. Not that it's necessary, but it's also worth mentioning that Bick can communicate fairly well in English and is eager to practice with guess and improve her English-speaking skills. I will surely return to Bick's Homestay the next time I visit Vietnam. I booked for one night and extended my stay. I would've loved to stay for even longer. My partner and I arrived after riding in the dark late and quite stressed, however the family were so welcoming and lovely - making us feel right at home. They offered us dinner right away and ended up cooking up an incredibly delicious meal, also offering us their home made corn wine and sitting with us to chat with their family and neighbours. The place is such a beautiful and unique style of homestay compared to others we have stayed at - with a location and design that made us feel like we were getting to experience a very traditional and forest like accommodation. The scenery was so lush and like something we had never experienced before. I was so amazed at how such a young family had taken on this business and was thoroughly happy with the whole experience that I would love to go back one day.

We received a very warm welcome from the host family and felt very welcome. It was a lovely experience, they cooked for us generously and we ate together with another couple and the host family two daughters Siu and Ni, followed by a round of karaoke. The two girls were incredibly accommodating and sweet. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

We just finished the giang loop with nowhere to stay for the night, we booked and we immediately received a message that they were able to host us and if we wanted dinner. The dinner was delicious and they have two adorable cats as well. We also had breakfast which was nice as well. Room is super comfy, location is nice and quiet.

Hosts were so kind and helpful, especially with checking in late at night and renting motorbikes. Breakfast before we set out on the loop was good. When we returned the bikes, they let us shower and stay there until our overnight bus.

The bungalow have a breathtaking view on the countriside and the room is simple but very cozy and confortable. I also suggest to have dinner there beacuse the food was incredibly tasty. Our best stay in the hagiang loop

Really friendly owners. Family dinner (with other guests) was great. They let us listen to the music we wanted. They had as always some happy water. They had cards and a pool table that they lend us. Prices were really good. After 10 pm he pulled bikes inside and closed the gate and we moved up to the floor to not disturb so much. I would stay in there again. Water pressure was great and the place was ok clean.
