Quirky house that was clearly loved. Very clean. Mary the host was lovely and so helpful. Very generously left us chocolates, wine and a lovely cake. There were tea bags and a bag of coffee beans! Mary clearly tries to make people’s stays very comfortable. There’s a great big garden and gazebo area, just made for parties. There are 3 properties beside each other. The folly, another large house suitable for a large party and the host’s own house. Mary was really lovely and we didn’t feel that it mattered that she lived so close by. It’s a bit out of town on a small country road. We walked to the Hoban hotel, about 10 minutes. Would be very happy to return there again.

The village has everything you need, from the shop to the best pubs (and locals) we have had the privilege to visit whilst on our motorbike tour. I will have to return, soon.
