This cottage is immaculate and gives you a home away from home feeling. Katie is a fantastic hoist and has great communication. it’s in the perfect location as you are not a million miles away from all the great Cotswolds villages to explore and enjoy. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone for a relaxing gateway from busy city life.

Boasting garden views, Cranberry Cottage offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 23 km from University of Oxford. This lovely accommodation exceeded our expectations! Having arrived in the dark we managed to get a glimpse of the front room. At the front door we were greeted by the lovely hosts, Sue and Brendan who took us through. The house is simply unique and very beautiful. It has 3 floors (and a basement for the hosts use only). The front room had a very home-from-home feel. Sue showed us the kitchen which was amazing - wooden beams and original wooden doors but also a very modern feel to it. She then took us up to our room which was in the roof of house so it had a low ceiling and a small window. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was very clean and tidy. We had a little heater in the room which came in handy during the night and morning especially because of the recent cold spell. Breakfast was superb, the table was laid out for us complete with homemade bread (which was a wonderful treat) and condiments, cereals, yoghurts, juice and hot drinks. It was just a case of help ourselves. We have friends in Wallingford and every so often meet up with them for evenings out. It's always been difficult in the past to find reasonable accommodation but not any more, this is now our go to place and with hosts like Sue and Brendan we couldn't have found anywhere better.

Featuring garden views, Merewood House features accommodation with a patio and summer house, around 4.2 km from St Stephen's House. The gazebo was wonderful. We had breakfast on the patio. There's a large rosemary plant. I used it to cook. . The house was very clean. It was recently remodeled. There was a television in the kitchen and the living room. We will be there next year.

Also a very pleasant and convenient walk to my client at teh Abingdon Business Park.

Offering a garden and quiet street view, Melrose cottage is located in Goring, 30 km from Newbury Racecourse and 32 km from University of Oxford. Rose was a great and helpful host. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was delicious.

Quiet area, private parking, very friendly and helpful owners, great views and good facilities. Well worth a trip to Hook Norton Brewery for breakfast too.
