The place is well furnished with such a cosy vibe. Just across the street, there are some amazing restaurants and store for fresh seafood where I could buy and cook my own dishes. Also there is ASDA in a walking distance. Plus a few steps to the bus station could get me to the heart of Edinburgh city. The tram station is a few minutes away if walking. Truly amazing place to stay! The host was super supportive and responsive with well thought way to support during the stay. I accidentally locked the door with the key inside the house. The host picked up my call so fast with instant well managed way for me to get spare key to get in the house.

We really enjoyed our two night break in this lovely cozy property. The location was great, so close to the National Air Museum which was well worth a visit. Concord was amazing to see! A short drive to North Berwick and Yellow Craig beach, both lovely to visit with the dog. Yummy fish n chips take away from North Berwick. So easy to catch the train into Edinburgh from the station opposite to the cottage. We enjoyed the log burner and watching movies on an evening. Yes the cottage is small but it’s very clean and nicely decorated with a modern feel. My 2 girls were happy with their single beds and we were comfy in the double bed. As mentioned restricted head height upstairs but we didn’t find this a problem. (I am only 5ft so no issues for me!) Thank you we would definitely return again and recommend to friends.

Aiaga Castle Gogar Cottage asub Edinburghis, 7,4 km kaugusel Murrayfieldi staadionist, 8,5 km kaugusel EICC ostukeskusest ja 10 km kaugusel Šotimaa rahvusmuuseumist. The 'Castle Gogar Cottage' is attached to Gogar Castle - and the hosts' home - and is located at the end of a picturesque driveway just off the main Glasgow Road, Edinburgh. As such it is a short drive to a host of local attractions, quality restaurants, bars, golf courses and sports venues. Despite having Edinburgh Airport as our immediate neighbour we were never disturbed by any of the aircraft operations. The quality of The Cottage's furnishings is exceptionally high and the presentation was of the highest standard. The Cottage is superbly well appointed with quality fitments, bedlinen, towelling and the like. The bedroom suites, bathroom and lounge are all wonderfully comfortable, well heated and delightfully cosy. The kitchen was very spacious and, again, extremely well appointed. Our host, Donna, welcomed us on arrival and quickly explained the layout and the attractions of the property. Donna was warm, engaging and considerate and her attention to the guests’ needs is flawless. Communications were speedy and helpful. The rain deterred us from using the outdoor patio but The Cottage's indoor facilities more than compensated for the dreary weather. We look forward to making a return visit as soon as we can and would highly recommend 'Castle Gogar Cottage' to all discerning visitors to Edinburgh.
