This was the most amazing place I have ever stayed in. The views were incredible, I could happily stay on the balcony all day and watch the cattle grazing. Sharon was such a wonderful host, very friendly and welcoming. The facilities were brilliant and the environment is very dog friendly. I will 100% definitely be staying again.

Boutique cottage set in historic town of Clitheroe ligger i Clitheroe, 18 km från King George's Hall, 40 km från Trough of Bowland och 44 km från Heaton Park. The breakfast was fine. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage.

Ellers Farm Cottage ligger i Carnforth och erbjuder gratis WiFi och utsikt över bergen. We stay at Ellers Farm as bought our dog to Kentdale Veterinary Referrals from the Isle of Man The cottage is literally down the road which was extremely handy. Cottage is beautiful and well equipped. The owners are lovely and happy to accommodate requests. Ellers Farm is what it says on the tin, a working farm so please expect that as you are literally metres away from horses and cows which I loved!😊

Swallow cottage, Over Kellet ligger i Over Kellet, 43 km från World of Beatrix Potter och 12 km från Cathedral Church of St Peter, i ett område där man kan ägna sig åt vandring. Everything was perfect. The property is spacious and very comfortable. I didn't use the air-fryer but I'm sure for some people it would be a treat. I loved having a washer, tumble-dryer and freezer available. Totally clean. All questions answered quickly....even silly ones! Great shower. Fabulously equipped kitchen. Everything we looked for was there. Spacious parking. Easy to work TV (they aren't all!!). Good Internet. Lovely location away from any busy area. I enjoyed seeing the horses wandering by.

Absolutely beautiful cosy house! Felt like home as soon as we walked in! So many lovely comfortable areas to sit, very relaxing and spacious inside. Highly recommend this lovely house.

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top ligger i Clitheroe, 43 km från Heaton Park, 49 km från Victoria Theatre och 49 km från Manchester Arena, och erbjuder boende med en uteplats och gratis WiFi. The setting and views were spectacular. The accommodation was stunning, beautifully fitted out. Very modern and stylish.

Kelvin House ligger i Fleetwood, 3 minuters promenad från Fleetwood Beach och 300 m från Marine Beach, och har havsutsikt och gratis WiFi. Huge room with sea view, well equipped kitchen, very comfy king bed, quiet. Kind hosts. (I received a free upgrade, as outside peak season.)

Lunecliffe Country lodge-Lancaster Gateway to the Lakes ligger i Lancaster, 4,2 km från Trough of Bowland och 36 km från North Pier, i ett område där man kan ägna sig åt vandring. The cabin was a home from home. Everything we could have needed. Literally the only thing we could think of adding was some form of egg timer! Wonderful size space, especially for the price. Not to mention the little touches and additional thoughts, like extea pillow, fans, the local takeaway menus and directions to eateries. We will definitely be back.
