Because I didn't have a car, Juan picked me up from the train. He did not only bring me to the appartment, he toured me around and showed me all kind of cool stuf! Featuring a shared lounge and views of garden, Harveys Homestay - Adults only is a country house situated in a historic building in Mieres, 33 km from Girona Train station. The place is a little oasis in La Garrotxa. Excellent setting for a week/weekend away. We stayed in the little cottage close to the pool and couldn't have been better. The whole house is tastefully decorated, breakfast is quality and surroundings are quiet and beautiful. Paul is an excellent host!

The location is stunning, so tranquil with beautiful views. The apartment is lovely, spacious, and has everything you could need. The pool was sparkling clean, and the grounds were very well maintained. The BBQ area was fantastic too, we used it nearly every night. Although there are 4 separate accommodations, everyone was very respectful of each other, and we often felt as if we had the place to ourselves. Ripoll is just a 5 minute drive away and is a lively town with lots of restaurants and shops. There are cycle and foot paths nearby too.
