SookePoint Ocean Cottage Resort is set in Sooke, 23 km from Sooke Region Museum & Visitor Centre and 3 km from East Sooke Park. Free WiFi is available. All rooms in the resort offer a sea view. The location, on a cliff facing the Strait of Juan de Fuca, was fantastic. The cottage itself was very modern, well-equipped for cooking, immaculate with a great shower and deep bathtub. Even in November, the wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling glass balcony doors are worth throwing open to see, hear and feel the sea air and waves directly below. Hummingbirds visited each day. Everything was very high quality and the staff in reception was very helpful and friendly. Check-in and check-out were straight-forward.

Campbell Cottage B&B is located in the Old City Quarter of Nanaimo. Free WiFi access is available. Clean and tidy in a great location. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful garden. Our host Anthea was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Nestled in Robson Valley, this B&B is just 15 minutes’ drive from Cariboo Snowcat Skiing. It offers a full breakfast. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Dee was a delightful host. Delicious breakfast. Apple cake, excellent in the afternoon. I will refer and return if in the area.

Located in the Nanoose Estuary, this inn is completely surrounded by wetlands and borders the Qualicom National Wildlife Area. Its architecture is inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright. Makes the most of its beautiful setting. Unit was clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Hosts happy to offer help and advice .loved the opportunity to kayak when the tide was high

Lyn was an incredibly gracious host. We stayed in the same space as she lives, which was a surprise, but she was careful to give us space and provided us with fresh croissants for breakfast. Instant coffee and powdered creamer were available but we brought our own. She was helpful in collecting any of our missing items that we ended up having to go back and collect, and at which point she was still very kind and gracious with us. We would certainly stay again. She provided us with all the proper information ahead of time and was there to greet us and gave us a tour of the place and offered some recommendations. Her dogs were super friendly as well. She followed up the next day to see how our stay was and made sure if we needed anything that we can text her to ask for recommendations while we were in town.

The house is located a 10-minute walk or 2-minute drive from a strip mall with several restaurants, a café, and a Safeway. It is right near the onramp to Highway 1 which makes it easy to get anywhere you need in the Vancouver area. The apartment has all the amenities including a full kitchen and washing machine and dryer. It is clean with all the supplies you will need. We were 2 people, but it can accommodate a family with 2 or more children with a bunk-bed style arrangement in the second bedroom.
