The fireplace was amazing and well stocked with wood ready to go. The property was easy to get to but felt far away from everything in a peaceful, secluded way. The property had lots of wallabies and wildlife and was clean and stocked up with the basic kitchen staples. The beds were great and the cottage looked great.

Homely, very clean, everything you need and comfortable. Any questions were answered very promptly. Feeding the animals was an added bonus. The owner, Rod, was extremely friendly and very helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The farm and surrounding scenery were just beautiful and we would take long walks in the afternoon and evening, accompanied by one of their dogs. We had a chicken hang out near our back door and the cows at times were close by as well. Rod took us into the field to brush the Highland cattle, which we really enjoyed. The views of the hills, the bay and parts of the Port Arthur historic site were just gorgeous. We would definitely stay at Ruby‘s cottage again.
