I had a pretty dreadful day in the back country and rolled into the villa quite late. To my surprise I was greeted and treated as if I came come home to family. Before I could unpack I had plates of food, stories, wine, it was amazing. The location is gorgeous. Plants and flowers everywhere. Grapevines pumping out little grapes for the wine. The pictures looked nice although it wasn't until I actually got there where I stopped and it really hit me how beautifully set the place is. Breakfast was also A+ with extra fruits picked right off the trees. It honestly felt like a little retreat at a family member that wanted to spoil you.

The kitchen has 4 cooking plates and an oven. The bathroom is small but comfy with a good shower. The place is close to a horse riding facility where you can do beautiful hikes with the horses. If you are looking for a nice, quiet place near Gjirokaster: this is it!

Great communication: very open, friendly and hostpitable people, ready to help! Perfect breakfast from the local home made products. The location of that home would require a car to get there, but it's also very authentic experience to be here in the real Albanian village.
