Great little 2 bedroom house in grounds of the main farm house surrounded by orchards. Perfect location with easy access to the Po cycle/walking path. This was easily one of the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. We really felt at home and the communication with the host was great. Location was very convenient for trips to nearby cities. This is a great apartment. Overlooking the old city walls, and a 5-10 minute walk to all the sights, restaurants, etc. It looked better than the photos, which isn’t always true! It was very comfortable and very quiet even with windows open. Special thanks to Daniela for helping us get settled and especially for arranging a taxi for our departure when we couldn’t navigate the voice mail system for booking a taxi on the weekend. We really enjoyed Ferrara and would happily stay here again.

We loved this beautiful hotel for its location in Ferrara. Off the beaten path and situated on a quiet road near a park and walking trails, this hidden gem allows visitors to relax in tranquility. The building looks like it was once a home now made into a boutique hotel restored in a way retains it's historic and elegant charm. They have a very nice breakfast for their guests, parking and are very helpful. There is a wonderful restaurant just next store we ate at twice.

The apartment has everything one may need for a weeklong stay. It has a full set of kitchen items, a washing machine, and many other amenities. The engineering campus of the University of Ferrara is at a walking distance of five minutes. The place is very safe. I had an excellent stay. Strongly recommend.

We didn't actually stay at the Gold Maison - previous customers made sure the premises couldn't be ready. Instead the host upgraded us to their appartment in the city centre at the same price. They were absolutely great.
