Had a lovely break at the Old Milk House. Beautiful house, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Location was great, in a quiet village setting and a good base to explore Yorkshire dales..Russel was the perfect host, very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Comfortable and room to move around. Lovely bathroom. Well stocked kitchen utensils. Lovely touches providing milk, fruit, wine and bread. Great location for walking my dog. Very steep from Richmond town centre but the views were fab. Would definitely recommend and will use again.

Location was fab. Just off the market square. Very quiet to say it was two minutes away from the pubs etc. Everything you need is very accessible. The cottage itself had everything you needed (salt, pepper, tea, coffee, coffee pods, hairdryer, logs, firefighters, washing machine, laundry tablets, fabric conditioner, tin foil etc Once the heaters had warmed up (didn’t take long at all) and the fire was lit, it was so cosy. There are fairy lights that go right round the perimeter of the room which are a great touch. Love all the quirky animal ornaments here there and everywhere, making the cottage even more homely. Great communication with the host too. Get the feeling that nothing is too much trouble and if they can they will accommodate you in any way. Milk, wine and biscuits were waiting for me when I checked in. Again…nice touch! I downloaded a treasure hunt to do around Richmond which I did with friends. Took around 2 and half hours to do. Best £9.99 I have ever spent. Richmond is so full of history and interesting facts. Great way to see things and learn more about the place. (I actually left the treasure hunt on the table with the other papers and leaflets with interesting things to do in Richmond!)

Close to Richmond for shops, eating out. The most amazing welcome basket and bread on arrival. Inside is beautifully decorated, warm and cosy, outside is lovely for bbqs and the hot rub is huge, excellent for 2 people to relax in. The most amazing stay, we wish we had booked longer.

The cottage had everything you need with towels, robes, slippers and full kitchen, the welcome basket was a lovely touch with the essentials. Close to Richmond town centre with lots of cafes and pubs, a lot of which are dog friendly. The cottage is close to so many amazing walks (The AllTrails app has lots of guided walks close by to choose from). Private patio and hot tub with views over the countryside made for a cozy evening after a busy day of walking.
