Everything was perfect, and it was so well equipped you could live there. The furniture was top quality as we're all the fixtures and fittings. Beds were very comfortable too . We will certainly be back. Also it was a short walk to the centre if newark. Although we didn't use the garden it was huge with a swing bed and big barbecue which would be great in the summer. The host was on call so you could ask anything and he did pop round to sort out the heating for us

Location fabulous - so easy to get everywhere. Great little terrace and extremely well kitted out for pooches. Just a wee bit cramped for a couple with 2 medium sized dogs but otherwise perfect. Hosts Paul and Lisa were very helpful and welcoming in their contact with us as was their housekeeper, Chris.

There was very little to dislike. Prime location in the town, easy access (No stairs / plenty of moving space). All essentials were available and ready to use. The place retained the warmth very well! I can't pick fault!

The hosts are the loveliest family! Extremely warm and welcoming. They even gave me a pot of their bee's fresh honey! The best part was the cows saying hello at my window in the morning.

The hosts were so lovely and welcoming, I was given freshly made cookies and honestly it was a kindness I didn’t know I needed and I deeply am grateful for that. They were really exceptional and were definitely destined to be hosts of this lovely cottage. The beds are super comfortable and it feels so homey. Cant recommend it enough.

Lovely grounds which had tables and chairs for sitting out on a lovely day. Also had yurts in the grounds which were set up as self catering, all the facilities provided, they looked great! Was about 10 mins out of Newark, set in the lovely countryside.
