Keysafes are the future ! All bedrooms were really presentable. Wardrobe things are great and functional. Contact person came really quickly to respond to little issue that was quickly resolved .

The kitchen, washroom and rooms are all right and in good condition. All fittings are good and eye soothing. Really enjoyed ours stays. Really helpful for those who wants to cook for themselves. Finding the location was very easy. Getting in was also straightforward. The host was very friendly and responsive. My family and I felt comfortable in the accommodation that was well thought out for a family. It is also brilliant that we could park off the road directly in front of the property. Overall, we were pleased with our stay at the property.

Lovely property, very comfortable. The furniture, ornaments & artwork gave it a nice feel. Location perfect for town (free parking in the Square, managed to park outside). First visit to Stokesley, we hope to return. Met the owner, who was very friendly & knowledgable on the area. A perfect weekend break.

The fact that many workmen from elsewhere lodge there during the week attests to the excellent value for money that the Sporting Lodge offers. The buffet breakfast offers a fine choice with plenty of hot and cold food for all palates. The restaurant was pretty good for evening meals too.

Food is excellent, we had breakfast and used the bar for dinner, both very enjoyable. Location is good for us as we can be where we need to be in the car in less than 10 minutes. Staff friendly. Room was huge (we were in Camellia) although the bathroom was a little cozy (we chose the larger room with the smaller bathroom but I think probably the medium sized room with the larger bathroom would have been better). Breakfast was good, and dinner on the night we arrived was OK - the chips were lovely! The hotel is in the countryside - we went on a lovely walk on arrival after spending all day in the car. Really pretty views.
