A wonderful, quirky building set right on the banks of the estuary. The views were amazing and we spent hours just watching the birds. What more could you ask for? We were very comfortable and warm during our stay and found it a very relaxing place to be. Cate and Lucy were very welcoming and the welcome treats were much appreciated. The pub is vitually next door, here we found good food and very friendly locals to chat to. We recommend a trip to St Peters Chapel, St Peters on the Wall and to Heybridge Basin, both were fabulous in very different ways. This cottage was probably the best we have stayed in and would very highly recommend it
