No problems with hot/warm water in the shower, the room temperature was perfect. Large, comfortable bed, TV with own netflix account for every lodge. We arrived to find milk and juice in the fridge and wine, chocolates and coffee. Very welcome. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 at each end of the property. The separate kitchen is located in the middle, with an open plan lounge diner next door. The bathroom is next to 1 of the bedrooms. There is also a conservatory with views onto the private outside space. We had a lovely stay, thank you.

We would take a short walk to town in the morning to grab a coffee and then take it back to the painters cottage sun room. It was a lovely way to start our mornings. There are restaurants and pubs within walking distance, as well as cute shops and easy markets. We were able to park our car in the lot which was nice. The cottage had everything we needed.

Loved the spacious room (studio in a lodge/stable building). Very well converted, it was cosy and had all the ameneties we needed. They had an air conditioning fan, which was super when it was a hot day. Nice touches like crisps and biscuits! Beds were super comfortable, even the single for our daughter. Lomond Lodge was perfect for a family of three.

Very comfortable and very well equipped with lovely thoughtful touches. Felt like a home from home. Beds were excellent. Short drive to the very charming village of Gifford and not much further to Haddington which is also really nice and has everything you need. Great base for exploring East Lothian/The Borders/Edinburgh.
