The view across the Levels to the Polden Hills is full of interest. Saw plenty of birds and on the last morning we were visited by a Kingfisher perched on our garden wall looking for breakfast. The cottage has everything a couple needs for a self catering holiday and was spotlessly clean. Sian was most helpful and the recommendation of The Sheppey was spot on. It's typically Somerset not Witherspoons and the chef was innovative and extremely accomplished.

The hosts live next door and are very helpful and always available when you need them. The location is fantastic, at the bottom of"the Tor", only a few walking minutes to the cathedral ruins and to the city centre. Although the property itself has no freezer you can use a communal freezer which is located a few meters away in an extra building.
