Fantastic view of the mountain from the pool. The services were top notch, and the massage we had from the spa was really needed after a long day hanging around beautiful Mai Chau. Our room was very beautiful. Parking space was large. Staff were super nice. Dinner was also great. All in all, highly recommend!

The hotel is located in a small village about 20 kilometres from Mai Chau, which is why we booked it. We wanted to stay in a quiet and remote area and we really liked it. We cycled to Mai Chau one day; scenic landscape, simply fantastic. The bungalows are very nice, food was very good and eveyone super friendly. We had great fun with the three dogs, who are absolutely adorable.

Best beds during my stay in Vietnam!
Fantastic view on the fields! They provide help with activities and a taxi for example. Free bike rental. And they offer massages! For me perfect location and good price if i comper this to the other luxerious stays around. And still a nice place to have a good rest. Bc i felt sick last day they helped me with bringing breakfast and drinks in the room itself.

Location-wise, it’s located in a lovely valley surrounded by staircase paddy fields, but far away from the usual commercialised Mai Chau town, so perfect for those who want peace, like us.
We took an afternoon walk around the area and got a nice early morning bike ride to nearby area which was quite lovely.
The food was absolutely gorgeous! Locally sourced ingredients, seasoned to perfection, in my humble opinion.
The staff were super nice, solicitous and attentive to our needs

The breakfast was okay as it was included on the price of the stay. The view was pretty spectacular on the rare occasion we saw it (we only saw it 1 afternoon out of 3 days we stayed, it was foggy most days to the point you couldn't see anything).
We had a nice walking tour with Kay, he was knowledgeable and welcoming and also assisted us with organising a day tour/transport to Mai Chau.

We stayed in Ban Lac, it was great for accomodation, food, shoping and as a departure point for bike rides and trips. Very charming and quiet place, surrounded by rice fields and a bit further from the bigger road (still easy to get there). It was our favourite place in Vietnam.

It was really lovely.
It was really lovely. Calm without being too quiet, with lots of nice roads to walk and look out over the rice fields and gardens. Just enough food/beer vendors spread about to be good :)
Lots of dogs about, and the smell of burning plastic was a pitty.

This area is incredibly beautiful - rice paddies all around as well as much other vegetation and farming. Beautiful wild nature in the mountains. The people are very kind and the local cuisine is delicious. Visiting by scooter or motorcycle would be best as the sights are spread out and it would be a little difficult to visit. You could also do it by car but that would be less fun!

After checking out La Maison de Buoc, I returned to Hanoi and had a flight back to Australia. If I knew that the trip would be so beautiful and memorable, I would stay longer.
Mai Chau this season is very beautiful, even though there are no longer rice fields. People have harvested all the rice since mid-November. But it's okay, I visited Pu waterfall, Mai Hich stream, Thai ethnic villages, climbed Red Rock and Kiapaco Cave.
It can be said that my trip was too short, I wish I could stay longer.

I like solo traveling so the trip to Mai Chau was what I needed after a long time working. It was and is a quiet, peaceful place, not many things to do, but a lot of things to see. I'm glad I came here on a motorcycle so I can go around and see many thing. For example cloud hunting( or cloud sightseeing, waterfalls, rice field under the shade of mountains as the sun coming down. I hope booking.com adds video feature since I record most of my video
The room was well managed and clean. The cafeteria where everyone could gather had a great view and comfortable seats to sit around. The host were very kind too. It was a very cost-effective homestay and I would have chose the same place even if I were to come again! The hosts give you a guide to what you can enjoy when you check-in along with refreshing welcome drinks. Dinner and drinks were delicious and the costs were reasonable too. Highly recommend the place if you’re planning to come to Mai chau!
Our host Hoi was just amazing. He gave us great recommendations for what we could do the next day and rented motorbikes for us. The recommendations were really awesome and a bit off the beaten path, so we didn't meet many other foreigners. Hoi speaks perfect english and will help you out with anything you ask him, like organizing a bus ride. Also he was very welcoming and invited us to drink some happy water (rice wine ;)) with him. We really enjoyed our time in Mai Chau and would love to come back.
Everything!! Specially the host, Vinh, she was amazing, treated us like family since the moment we arrived. The location is superb and the place is beautiful.
Vinh gave us tips for all the attractions around the area and we were lucky to be able to spend some time with her chatting. She is one of the kindest persons we have ever met and she made our stay in Mai Châu one of the best experiences.
We encourage everyone visiting the area to stay in Hakuna Matata, you cannot miss it!!
Fantastic stay. We joined a party because they were celebrating a successful harvest season so half the village was there. To.compensate for the 'disruption' we given a discount for upgrading to a private room and a free dinner. The host is a lovely selfless chap who was a pillar of the community during covid. ALSO the view of the Vietnam countryside and avenue of trees snaking away from the recliner chairs is one of the most perfect views I've seen in my life - not to be missed!
The owners are some of the nicest people I've met in Vietnam. They really go the extra mile making sure you're ok, have everything you need and they'll give you suggestions on what to do.
The place is really close to the other villages and there's bikes and a motorcycle at the homestay you can use.
The food is always delicious. And the view! It's a wonder to look at.
I can't recommend this place enough. It ticks every box. If you're going to Mai Chau you have to stay here
Fantastic stay! Our room was spacious with a nice terrace. Cò, the host, was so nice and friendly, easy to talk to (spoke very good English) and very helpful. He gave us a map and some information on what to do in the area.
The homestay is a typical Thai house located in the center of one of the small villages near Mai Chau. Easy to borrow/rent bikes and cycle through the rice fields. Great a/c. Good shower with hot water. Thank you Cò!
This place is a fantastic find. It's located in quiet laneway of Mai Chau. The design of the rooms & ensuite incorporate eclectic styling and are very spacious. The room we had was exceptional (no 5) and the price was very good. We stayed for 3 nights. The host family were so warm, generous, friendly & caring. The meals were well priced and delicious. We enjoyed hiring their bike (free) to ride through the magnificent rice paddies.
Waking up to the view every morning is just spectacular! The staff were attentive to our every need. Beds were super comfortable, I thought food prices were fair and every meal was delicious. The hotel was able to get me a motorbike and we drove 40 miles over 3 days visiting around the resort, roads were easy and the local folks were wonderful! The pool was the perfect temp and has the same incredible views!
The homemade food was delicious and the couple running the homestsy made sure I had everything I needed. The tranquility and quietness of the location makes it a perfect stay for relaxation.
They also helped me with my transportation and offered a bike to rent to move around Mai Chau. The last day Thom gave me a bag of bananas to take with me.
Very nice breakfast with good selection and very helpful staff.
Note you essentially need dinner in the hotel too.
We stayed in a little bungalow which was really nice and spacious.
The resort in itself is great - Mai Chau in itself was a little bit less than we expected.
Nice evening show with folklore dancing and singing.
Let me just say this, I just booked 1 night and stayed for 7 more! Tân, the hostess, is just the best and can handle just about anything you want. You can have amazing dinner every night there and eat there with friends and family. I highly, highly recommend staying here if you are planning to visit Mai Chau or the area!
Location is the best in Mai Chau.Beautiful surrondings you got the meadow in front of you.The staff and the family are wonderful.Good cycles to rent.Close to the.main shops and ATM in the small town, markets.I used my bicycle all the time.Food is really good and good portionsI
Very nice accommodation and in an absolutely exceptional location. We have also undertaken a half-day hiking tour which turned out to be one of the highlights of our entire Vietnam vacation. Can also only recommend to take the bikes of the hotel for a tour in the area.
The staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating, especially Ly. Highly recommend the Vietnamese set dinner menu - delicious spread! Great pool overlooking rice paddies. Also received a parting gift of beautiful Thai woven bracelets.
Wonderful, hospitable, great service, lovely family owned little business, homestay. Clean, amazing views , better than some of the 3 star hotels in Hanoi. Great breakfast. Just so lovely anfmd peaceful xx
Perfect resort to stay in Mai Chau. Our room has balcony that faced the breathtaking view.
Professional and kind staff who simply responded with a smile to our every request.
Highly recommend!!!
Beautiful and quiet location, with a stunning infinity pool. Rooms and area feels almost like a fancy resort in Thailand, and the beds are very comfortable for Vietnamese standards.
