Location is great for the bar harbour, Acadia National park experience. As it is right at the main lights as you get to the town.
Acadia NP is back up the road 1.5 mile and town is 10 blocks to the wharf. With all the shops between. You can not park on the street closer than this hotel with out paying steep fees.
Room was good size and comfortable. Bathroom was over size. Breakfast was “grab and go” with a selection of pastries and bars and coffees, teas and fruit. works really well because you want to get into the park or catch a cruise.

Great little Inn with perfect location to explore Bar Harbor and surrounding areas. The breakfast was amazing every day and inn keeper Chris makes you feel so welcome and is super helpful with any tips during your stay. We can’t wait to come back!

This was our second time staying at Hanscom’s and we LOVE it!! It’s super dog friendly, cozy, and has everything you need for a relaxing trip! If you stay here, make sure to take advantage of the grill, cornhole, propane fire and regular fire pit that has fire starters, wood and paper to make starting your fire super easy!
