Location was brilliant and the views were amazing. The host Franko and his lovely dog Nelli were really friendly and made us feel welcome. Just make sure to arrange your own breakfast & payment with cash when staying outside the summer months, while the connected restaurant isn’t open.

I recently enjoyed a stay at this charming retreat, offering a spacious room and a peaceful atmosphere. The hostess was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our visit truly memorable.
The room was generously sized, allowing for comfort and ease of movement. The tranquility of the surroundings provided a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
The vintage decor might not be for everyone, but I found it endearing, adding character to the space. While some may consider it a little outdated, I appreciated the nostalgic touch.
In summary, if you seek a peaceful getaway with a friendly host and don't mind a bit of vintage flair, this is an excellent choice. It's a unique retreat that offers a break from the modern world while providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The Gorge is very beautiful and there are many hiking and walking trail around. The museum of Tolmin is really interesting. I'd recommend going there with nice weather, there is little to be done when it is raining.

Tomlinson was a great stop on our hiking adventure.
Tomlinson was a great stop on our hiking adventure. The gorge and castle ruins were good to see and with it being a bigger town then we had been in on our travels we were able to restock our hiking supplies.

Great base for getting out to other hiking areas waterfalls and canyons. The Town centre is dated and quite dirty. Only a few restaurants all with the same items on the menu, but all good quality and very low prices.

Tolmin is heaven on earth.
Tolmin is heaven on earth. Especially in the festival season in the town. The rivers Tolminka and Soca meet, and it's the perfect cooling down in the hot hot heat (it was 32 degrees Celsius). The surrounding area is Slovene Alps at its best with countless activities from biking, paragliding, mountain climbing and canyoning. It has one of the best festivals in Slovenia every summer, and it's a must visit.

Nice quiet place, not many tourists.
Nice quiet place, not many tourists. Beautiful gorge to walk which again was not busy. It’s a quaint little town with few restaurants and ideal for those looking for outdoor activities off the beaten track.
Also if you choose to do the boat tour (which requires a short drive) best deal is to have lunch on it. It’s 14 euro for 2/3 courses including 2.5 hour boat ride. Otherwise you pay for 1 hour boat ride with no food for 8 euro.

Cute little town with breathtaking surroundings, very tourist-friendly, perfect for active holidays. Having a car helps a lot, makes the whole region very accessible, but train is a second best option as well. Restaurant Labrca at the river bank is a must. Excellent food, friendly staff.
Spacious and cozy apartment in the wilderness surrounding Tolmin. We really enjoyed the cleanliness and practicality of this place, as well as the beds, they were very comfy to sleep in. There is a large entrance hall too, ideal for storing hiking/ski gear. The kitchen space is superb, with plenty of utensils and appliances to use. Overall, this apartment offers everything you need and could hope for while travelling.
We had a great stay here in Tolmin. The room was perfect for two people, with a private kitchen, toilet and shower. There is also an AC. The location was ideal for visits to the town centre, as well as right next to walks in the beautiful nature Tolmin offers. Vladimir was friendly, kind and offered us great tips for the area. I highly recommend this place and will certainly return again soon.
The apartment is at great location, in the center of Tolmin (which is a small town with only 3.500 residents). Everything is near: supermarkets, restaurants & cafes, playground & sport park, etc.
We were on a roadtrip with our 17 month kid and the host was helpful to get a high chair and a cot for our stay.
🅿️ Parking with car is easy.
Unfortunately, there are only the pros that I could give.
This is a great option when in the Soca Valley. The owner is so nice. We rented it last minute and the only room available was the small room. It’s small, but manageable for two people. I loved that there was a small kitchen closet for making breakfast each morning. It’s close to the center of town and to the Tolmin Gorge.
It's a remote place but in return you get the most beautiful view of the mountains. We loved the authentic feel and see a little bit of Slovenia's farm and local life. The place has a bar and restaurant so you'll never go thirsty or hungry and the hosts are the nicest people. The best prices we've experienced also
The place is really great. A small hotel in the home of two very nice hosts. We had a beautiful room with a stunning view. Luise cooked a homemade meal for us. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. We had a really nice evening with both of them. We absolut recomment this place!
It was really convenient to collect the key and check in, the apartment is close to everything in town. Our host Anja is very nice and helpful. Cosy bed and there's more than enough for a one night stay in the apartment, recommended for people who want to hike to Tolmin Gorge.
Darko was very friendly! Upon arrival there was a little gift and delicious cheese. A friendly cat kept an eye on us during our stay. The appartement looks just like in the pictures and Tolmin is also a great place to explore the soca valley from.
The owner was so kind and helpful the place was clean and even behind and under stuff was clean. Parking is fine. Everything is close like tolmin georges. Kitchen is clean and we'll equipped. View is exciting. Pizzeria is across the street.
It was a good location for us, being about halfway between the Slovenia ski area (Vogel) and Trieste. Our host was very friendly and helpful. Great view from the kitchen, and there is a balcony, and everything seems quite new!
The house is beautiful, Matej is a great host and very helpful with finding hidden gems in the area. Sela pri Volčah is located perfectly for either visiting Tolmin or Kobarid to the north or Kanal & Nova Gorica in the south.
Great place to explore Soca valley. Owner is very friendly and helpful. On-site restaurant available with local food.
The entrance for Tolminka gorge is just a few minutes walk away.
Very nice apartment in center of Tolmin, close to restaurants and shops. Apartment was spacious, there was kitchen, big dinning table, nice view to church from balcony.
Highlight of our trip to Slovenia. Waking up in this cabin in the mountains is truly special. Wish we could have stayed longer, and hope to come back one day.
