The room was very nice and clean. The host seemed friendly and accommodating. The value for money is good, the other places we looked at were more expensive. We liked it for a short stay, it looked modern inside and had everything we needed for one night.
Kobaird was a surprise for me. It is a neat little town, in a beautiful setting with a lot of outdoor activities, of which we didnt have time to do most. It also has some exceptional restaurants. Everyone knows about Hisa Franka but we dinned at Hotel Topli Val and the food and wine where exceptional, and I believe there are others just as good. We will definitely have to come for a longer stay

Kobarid was great.
Kobarid was great. A wonderful market with everything you could ever need and lots of lovely local specialities. A great place to do base yourself for hiking and also get to Bovec for white water rafting. Hisa Planica is in Dreznica above Kobarid. A lovely little village with great walks to beautiful waterfalls, wonderful views, the best hosts. The drive up to Dreznica is fairly winding, fine for my husband and sons, but at times I needed to close my eyes.

Naturally blessed area and a very clean town.
Naturally blessed area and a very clean town. There are a lot of water or mountain related activities that can be done around the town. There are places were food is more than great(Hisa Polonka or Kotlar) located in the center of the town.

Nice town, we liked especially cycling near Soca river.
Nice town, we liked especially cycling near Soca river. Beautiful views. We were eating in Soca Pizza Restaurant, really good pizzas, we also saw other restaurants, but Soca was always open so this was our place :).
We were on bikes, but we saw many people with hiking gear, and according to map there are a lot of hiking trails.

Loved everything about Kobarid.
Loved everything about Kobarid. It is quaint and while there are tourists coming and going, it doesn’t feel like a tourist town/trap (which is how Bovec seemed to me). The homes in town are lovely and well maintained. I got the sense that people took a lot of pride in living there. The town itself is beautiful. You can go out and see/do so many things if you use Kobarid as a “home base” and go out to nearby points of interest. I walked the Historic Trail, went kayaking, went rafting, and visited waterfalls. I only spent 2 nights in Kobarid and then 1 night in Bovec. I wish I had spent 3 in Kobarid and skipped Bovec the town altogether. I could not get dinner at any restaurant in Bovec- very few places serve food and the two places I went to said they were booked for the night, yet most tables were open. Meanwhile, in Kobarid, I walked into the loveliest restaurant at 8:30 pm and was treated to a table and exceptional service. The place was busy- always a good sign- and the person who served my partner and I treated us like we were regulars. He may have been the owner by how knowledgeable and attentive he was. Hisa Polonka is the restaurant and I highly recommend it. The following night I was tired and just got pizza from a local hostel. Different experience from Hisa Polonka, but the pizza was also good and for 8 euro it was a good deal. Kobarid also has beautiful views. You can’t go wrong staying in Kobarid for a few days.
There are no words to describe how homey and amazing this place is. Hosts are truly amazing people and will give you advice on anything you need to make your trip a great experience. Rooms are prepared to a very high standard. Breakfast is one of the best you will ever have and a unique bar in the village will hit a perfect spot for evening night cap. If there is a free room in Soca Potential and you want to explore this part of Slovenia, trust me, book it now.
Absolutely adorable hotel in Kobarid. Beautiful greenery around near room and common outdoor areas. Room was very clean with separate room for bathroom and shower. Air conditioner and wifi worked great. Check in was easy and staff was extremely warm and welcoming. Bed was extremely comfortable and shower had awesome water pressure with rain shower head. Highly recommend this place!
The little hut we stayed in is situated in the green mountains near Kobarid. It is suuuuuper calm, the nature is beautiful, there is a small waterfall nearby. We absolutely loved it! Lidija and Vinko are so friendly and kind, we got a fresh lemonade and drinks upon arrival and even some cake to enjoy. They are super friendly! I would always come back - everything was perfect!
Apartment situated directly in the historic center of Kobarid, but with windows to a quiet back alley. Room was equipped with lots of cabinets, fairly new furniture. Comfortable beds, quiet AC. Bathroom of above-average size. The building's front features a pizzeria, shared ownership brings the benefit of a very rich breakfast being included. The pizza was top-notch, too!
Nice location in the center of Kobarid, enough space for parking and well equipped common kitchen. Last but not least -Jernej is really a super host, not only did he prepare us excellent breakfast, but he also allowed us to leave our car at the hotel parking lot for two days between our single stays.
Kobarid is beautiful town with strategic position for exploring north-west part of Slovenia. If weather go wrong, you always can run away to Italy for a while :-)
Aparment was clean, with comfortable bed. Marie and her friend was very friendly and helpful. I hope, we'll se them again.
This place is a gem. I can write only positive things. The host was really nice. The little house what we rented was a dreamhouse. :) Brand new furniture, unbeatable view. More than perfect for the nicest getaway. I would return any time. The center of Kobarid is close as well.
The surroundings are really beautiful! You're surrounded by a lot of hiking routes and breathtaking views, we never regretted that we stayed in Dreznica and not in Kobarid. The apartment was warm and spotlessly clean with great view from the terrace.
The apartment was modern and spotlessly clean. The check in was really smooth, the owners are very friendly and helpful. The scenery is hard to beat! It was the perfect place to stay for our dinner at Hisa Franko, a short 15 minutes walk away!
- Very welcoming and available host who gives helpful tips on the region
- The location was perfect to reach many hiking paths (mount Krn, Kobarid reachable by foot)
- The village is lovely, with a bar and a restaurant (opened on the evening)
Staff at both the hotel and restaurant were extremely helpful and friendly. Everyone is extremely hardworking and I think it's a great hotel. I am Japanese and I felt "OMOTENASHI" from them. I would like to stay there again.
We had a great time here. The apartment is spacious and bright and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the sauna and the whirlpool after long days of hiking in the beautiful area around Kobarid.
Very spacious Appartement with a nice balcony in the center of Kobarid. The apartment had 2 bedrooms, and very confortable for our family of 4 adults. Very clean a convenient to visit to r surroundings
Very close to the river just few minutes walk. Also Kobarid is very near. Quiet place, not on the main road.
Whole apartment is precisely renovated local building with great atmosphere.
Everything, if you want peace and quite accomodation with all neccessary appliances and above all in beautiful part of Slovenia, this is right choice! Ratings 10/10.
Freshly renovated apartment in a quite remote area, just 3min drive to Kobarid. Good kitchen, nice back yard with a terrace. Both bedrooms clean and well equipped.
