The property is ideally remote, by the forest, very calm. It is super confortable and the service level is high in terms of amenities and equipment: indoor climbing wall for kids, TV room, gorgeous sauna /hammam area - actually that space is 5 stars! The staff it great also and we had the pleasure to be hosted by Jasmina who made sure we were making the most of the place and the surroundings. Our best dinner (of our entire holiday week around Slovenia) was at Alpine Homestaed, cooked by Jasmina! A big thank you to our hostess.

Everything was perfect. We found the keys in the key box, there also was champagne and chocolate for welcome. The kitchen was well equipped and had also tea, coffee, sugar, etc.
We really appreciated the big living room, which is perfect for a big group, the fireplace (with firewood) and the sauna. The rooms were very clean and equipment modern.
We had a very nice stay after a cold and rainy day.
Surrounded by unspoiled nature, Hotel Bohinj is situated 100 metres from Bohinj Lake. It offers rooms with mountain view and few rooms on the top floor with lake view.

Wasn’t sure whether to book this hotel in Bohinj qs I wasn’t convinced the reviews matched the price point. I have mixed feelings. Staff were fab, spa was fab and the room was fab (large, clean and a really comfortable bed!). The proximity to the lake and the views are unrivalled and I’d probably stay again.

Newly opened in April 2009 after extensive renovations, this 4-star hotel, first opened in 1906, is only 200 metres from Lake Bled and in the immediate vicinity of the train station.

It is located in a gorgeous part of Bled, away from the touristy area - so we didn't have to endure traffic to get there. The hotel is located on a hill so you have to walk some stairs to get down to the lake, gorgeous nonetheless. We enjoyed the short walk down to Velika Zaka to swim and had lunch at the campground cafe - Zaka. You can also rent SUPs and row boats near the campground.
The hotel's breakfast was top-notch—I especially enjoyed the Bird of Paradise granola bowl. The food in Slovenia is also very fresh.
The spa + pool was also a nice touch. I enjoyed swimming some laps in the pool. Overall a wonderful hotel and stay. Would book again.
